We are looking for someone to take care of my father who has severe dementia. He is currently located in Port Coquitlam and we are looking for someone to care for him 4 days per week from 11 am - 8 pm. The 4 days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. Some flexibility for a later end time may be required from time to time. Tasks will include, preparing his meals, engaging him with simple brain exercises, taking him for walks, assisting with hygiene, transportation to appointments, visiting his children and grandchildren, and providing him with support and positive company throughout the day. He struggles with communication, so patience and the ability to understand non-verbal cues are very important. We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications: -Experience or training with dementia care -A driver's license -Proof of vaccination -Ability to provide a clear criminal record check and/or vulnerable sector check Please feel free to message if you are interested in this job or have any questions.

We are looking for a person to do about 25 hrs per week (Mon-Fri from 9.30am -2.00pm) of light work starting soon to support our elderly mother in a home setting. At the start, occasionally in White Rock (16th Ave.) but mostly in North Langley home. No heavy lifting, no house cleaning. Homecare person will provide some companionship, do light tasks, make bed, heat and serve meals, weekly laundry, help with light exercise, and walking. Requirements: Must be patient and kind. Safety conscious, Positive and Outgoing personality. Must be able to learn how to use Augmentative Alternative Communication Device. (Ipad- Touchchat Program, Eyegaze). Must be fully vaccinated. Our daughter is vaccinated, but remains vulnerable and more susceptible to the severe symptoms of Covid-19 and to be protected from risk of transmission, candidates will require proof of vaccination prior to employment. I am looking for a caregiver/support worker to help me with our daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. The responsibilities would include feeding, standing transfers, washroom care, dressing and grooming, taking her out for walks in her manual wheelchair or going shopping with her and playing games or doing arts and crafts and baking.

Mostly to make her fell secure at night as she will be very frightened to be alone. When she is able, to help to go to the bathroom. This will require 24 hour care for the first couple of weeks and then we will require less time as she feels better
