I’m Meaghann, a 31-year-old mom of two (a busy 3-year-old and a sweet 10-month-old) looking to take on some additional babysitting. I’ve worked with kids for years and truly love what I do. I spent 2 years as a nanny in Penticton and 5 years as an after-school educator at Hope Lutheran Christian School in Port Coquitlam. I also have experience supporting Indigenous families, supervised access visitation, and working with youth and children in ministry care, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and family dynamics. I’m fun, patient, creative, and love getting kids outside, exploring nature, doing crafts, and keeping things engaging (while still safe and structured). I also have a lovable dachshund, so I’m very pet-friendly! I genuinely enjoy making a positive difference in kids’ lives and creating a calm, happy environment they feel comfortable in. I’d love to connect and see if I’m a good fit for your family 🤍 I have over 15 years experience in nannying/child care and I currently have my own 10 month old. I worked as an after school educator at Hope Lutheran Christian School from 2019-2023. I have my class 5 license and CPR. I have experience with children of all ages. Great references available upon request! Social services diploma at UFV Legal administration certificate at Capilano

I'm a 32 year old career nanny who lives in Fort Langley, BC. My employment with a family I've worked with since 2016 is coming to an end as their daughter turns 15 in 2026. This means I'm currently looking for the next best position which will ideally be long-term, but I'm open and flexible in order to meet your family's needs. I would love to have the opportunity to work with you and will provide excellent references and skills in all areas of caregiving and housekeeping. Communication is of utmost importance to me, and I prove this by building a strong foundation of trust from day one. I'll make a great addition to your family by providing a nurturing, safe, and secure environment in your home while minding your young one[s] in accordance with your daily routine/schedule. I love the outdoors and engaging in fun activities while ensuring a balance with learning/school work. The needs of your family and your peace of mind are of the utmost importance to me. I hold an Associate of Arts degree and am working towards my bachelor's in applied psychology at Douglas College. I have a wonderful life partner, Brian, who I've been with for over 11 years. Together we have a 4-year-old aussie border collie named Kenobi who we love as our fur baby. I play the piano, guitar, sing and am a recreational dancer, as well as a writer, hobby photographer, artist, and poet! I live a health-oriented lifestyle by eating whole foods, and working out. I do have multiple "invisible" disabilities, but they don't impact my ability to provide consistent caregiving for families. Fun fact: I provided doula-like care for my cousin through 3 of her labor/deliveries of 2 surrogate babies and 1 of her own. The nurses and doctors thought I was a certified doula by the way I cared for her and provided support. I may take training to become a certified doula in the near future but this is mostly done online, and any in person sessions are planned well in advance and will be communicated. I require paid sick days and am open to negotiating how many. I have 10 in my current position. I also currently have a base pay for weeks where I'm needed for fewer hours than usual in order to keep a consistent liveable wage, unless unpaid time off is well communicated and agreed upon. This base pay is negotiable but is usually set for anything less than 25hrs/week to keep me on board. I am open to discuss this, especially if the position requires fewer hours. Since I have over a decade of experience, my minimum salary is $22.00/hour, and otherwise negotiable. I would hope for 2 weeks paid vacation at the rate/hours per week I work for you after 3 months of employment but this is not mandatory. I will add to this section when I think of more to share. I've worked with children aged 0-14 for over a decade and love the work I do! I consider myself a career caregiver. I prepare meals, grocery shop, bathe and put to bed, as well as everything that comes in between, like helping with schoolwork, trips to the park, story time, and all things ART! I take great care in planning fun outings and always consider the passions of the kids I work with. I have my full license and a track record of safe driving. I can do drop offs and picks ups from school/activities as needed. I'm a very stable, dependable, and reliable caregiver who is extremely passionate in the expressive arts, especially music and dance, along with everything else you could possibly think of from puppets, to painting, to bilateral stimulation! I have experience working with multiple families and multiple children at once, and am trusted by numerous families as their caregiver/occasional sitter/driver, etc. Feel free to ask me anything. I'm looking forward to connecting with you!

I am a 21-year-old pastry student on a break from my studies, driven by a desire to help others and make a positive impact. My experience growing up with a younger brother and numerous babysitting jobs has fostered a deep affection for children and an understanding of their diverse needs. Sports have instilled in me the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Having come from a family with divorced parents, I possess valuable insights into the challenges children face in such situations, enabling me to connect with and support them on a more personal level. I have been babysitting since the age of 11, caring for my younger brother and taking on various babysitting roles throughout elementary school and high school. My brother's learning disability has allowed me to develop strong tutoring and caregiving skills, assisting with homework, daily tasks, and behavioral guidance. This experience has cultivated my patience and adaptability in tailoring my approach to individual needs. I've completed my standard first aid and CPR training, as well as food safety training. Additionally, I'm in my final year of earning my red seal in baking and previously was a sous chef.

I have extensive childcare experience spanning many years and age groups. As a teenager, I provided regular babysitting for multiple families during summer weekdays for three consecutive summers, as well as evenings and weekends over the years. I cared for families with one to three children, ranging in age from 6 months to 11 years old. Families consistently expressed high satisfaction with my care and regularly invited me back. I am a highly responsible woman who truly enjoys being present with children—laughing, playing, and creating a safe, joyful environment. I also worked for one summer as a camp supervisor at an outdoors summer camp, where campers stayed for two weeks at a time. I was part of a team of two supervisors responsible for approximately 16 campers aged 10 to 16. Our role included organizing and supervising daily activities, as well as leading multi-day hiking and canoeing trips, which required strong leadership, organization, and safety awareness. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and deeply engaged in child development research. I have a strong passion for outdoor learning, self-directed play, creativity, and viewing play as a natural flow state for children. I love inventing games, doing arts and crafts, and encouraging children to express their talents and emotions in a safe, supportive, and imaginative environment. I am currently seeking a position for the coming months and am happy to discuss availability and expectations openly. I enjoy cooking and am comfortable preparing meals that accommodate various dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and other specific preferences. I am also happy to assist with light household tasks related to childcare, such as tidying play areas, putting toys away, and cleaning up after meals or creative projects, as I value maintaining an organized and respectful environment. I can also help with laundry and cleaning during nap time if required. I am 32 years old and previously worked and studied in civil engineering for several years. I chose to take a break and realign my life following an illness—an experience that strengthened my dedication, resilience, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. I approach challenges with both logic and creativity and take pride in showing up reliably and thoughtfully. In addition, I am trained in yoga and enjoy integrating gentle movement, breath awareness, and presence into daily life. I believe children benefit greatly from learning to tune into their bodies, connect with their breath, and develop a sense of calm, awareness, and embodied confidence. I previously completed First Aid and CPR training, as well as lifeguard certification. Although these certifications have since expired, I am fully willing and motivated to refresh them as required. I have a valid driver’s license and my own vehicle, and I am comfortable with after-school pickups and drop-offs, as well as running errands as needed. I am fluent in both English and French. - Babysitting: 1 to 3 children (age 6 months to 11 years old), week days of summer and weekend and evening during school for 3 years. (Quebec) - Summer Camp Supervisor to 16 teenage girls from 10 to 16 years old for two weeks at a time. (Quebec)

My name is Anika, I am a 25-year-old university student majoring in Psychology, en route to pursuing a master’s in Clinical Counselling. I am a compassionate, positive, and dedicated person who has a huge love for children, a passion for nature, nutrition, and health, and a mega soft spot for animals. I bring warmth, energy, and creativity to every role I take on, and love to create fun, engaging, and adventurous experiences for the children I work with, whether it’s exploring nature outdoors or nurturing their creative sides with arts and crafts inside. I have multiple years of experience working with and caring for children of all ages, including caring for multiple children at once. I take pride in creating and providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. I value building strong, trusting relationships with families and believe in open, honest communication and teamwork to make the dream work. In addition to my nanny and childcare experience, I also work as a Ministry Support Worker, providing one-on-one support to children with high and complex behavioural needs and disabilities such as autism, ADHD, and FASD. This role has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and understanding of individualized care. I understand the importance of building trust, fostering open communication, and meeting people where they’re at, which helps children and families feel truly supported. I have experience assisting with daily routines including meal preparation, school drop-offs and pick-ups, extracurricular activities, and bedtime routines. I also help maintain clean and organized living environments, encourage children to develop independence and responsibility in caring for their own spaces, and am happy to assist with additional household tasks such as cleaning, dog walking, dog sitting, and housesitting when needed. I hold a valid driver’s license and have a new, reliable vehicle. I am trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR, and have previously completed Standard First Aid and CPR. As I am a university student, my schedule can vary from semester to semester, so some flexibility is needed for our arrangement to work. I am more than happy to collaborate to create a schedule that works well for everyone. Currently, I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the day, and Thursday afternoons, and I am looking for a part-time position of approximately 2–3 days per week, up to around 24 hours. I’m looking for a wonderful, loving family to work and grow with, as my past nanny positions have been such positive, rewarding experiences, and I look forward to creating that again! I’ve been working with children for many years, starting with babysitting at age 11. Over time my love for caring for kids has grown into a passion of being both a nanny and a B.C ministry support worker, where I provide one-on-one care and individualized support for children with complex developmental and behavioural needs. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from 9 months to 13+ years old, including managing multiple children at once. I have experience with before and after school care, homework support, extracurricular activities, and monitoring playdates. Working with children has been a huge part of my life from a young age, with a mom who ran a daycare and became a Montessori teacher to now my own version of child minding as my career progresses. My experience as a nanny has played a huge role in pursuing an education in psychology, with the ultimate goal of being able to better understand and support the individuals around me.
