We have an opening for a caregiver to help care for my mum in her condo. We are looking for someone who is trained, skilled and experienced in dementia. She is kind, loving and embraces her role as matriarch of our large Italian family. She has mobility issues and is visually impaired. As such, she requires stand-by to hands-on assistance for daily activities, depending on her energy level. We are interested in someone who could help with light housekeeping, prepare some meals, assist with toileting, do laundry and provide companionship. Extended family lives very close by. Client needs assistance to get out of bed, personal care and meals, breakfast, lunch supper and assist again at bedtime, 4 hours per day Saturday and Sunday, split shift.
