Responsibilities for this position will cover a wide range which includes assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and range of motion exercises. The caregiver is also expected to undertake housekeeping tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning/preparation, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, and assisting with pet care. Moreover, this role may also involve taking the elderly individual to appointments, planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbors, friends, and family. The caregiver will be working closely with a lovely person who has a sweet pet cat and enjoys the company of others. Experience with Alzheimer/Dementia care is a must, as is familiarity or willingness to work with someone who requires incontinence care (diapers). The work schedule for this position would primarily be on Thursday and Friday, both in the morning and evening, totalling less than 20 hours per week. A driver's license is required, however, the use of an automobile is not applicable to this position. As this is a live-out role, it means you get to return to your home and family. While past experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, and diabetes is highly valued, it is not a necessity. However, an open mind and willingness to work with such conditions are vital. The start date for this position is preferred to be the 8th of May, 2025. She is quiet and likes watching her golf during the day. Sometimes can get grumpy depending if she is in pain or upset. Typically in a great mood. We can offer a lot of flexibility during the day and give time off. This is a full-time, taxable income employment.
