I am looking for a compassionate and reliable part-time caregiver to support my 85-year-old father in our home in the Solar neighbourhood of Brossard. This is a live-out position with a regular schedule of 16 hours (or less) per week, and an immediate start is preferred. The caregiver will help with daily care needs, including feeding, personal hygiene, toileting assistance, bed baths, patient positioning, medication administration, and assistance with walking. Light housekeeping duties are also part of the role, such as laundry, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, and stacking dishes in the dishwasher. Experience caring for seniors with Alzheimer’s or dementia is essential. My mother also lives at home and is independent, but she is not physically able to provide this level of care. We are therefore looking for someone dedicated, respectful, and genuinely committed to the well-being of seniors. The required schedule can be negotiated. For logistical reasons, applicants must live on the South Shore. A valid driver’s license is required. English or French is welcome. Experience and references are required. Une expérience auprès de personnes atteintes de MPOC sévère ou ayant des limitations respiratoires importantes est fortement souhaitée. La maîtrise du français est obligatoire. Nous recherchons avant tout une personne de confiance, autonome, empathique et capable de faire preuve de jugement lorsque la situation l’exige.
