I'm looking for someone who can sit with my 85 year old father who is currently a patient at St Mary's Hospital in Montreal. This would be between the hours of 12pm to 6pm on Monday to Friday. He needs help with eating, going to the bathroom, transferring from the bed to a chair, walking, shaving (with electric shaver), hearing aid charging & cleaning and well as someone to keep him company. His hosptial stay will be an extended one as he is being treated for a type of cancer and will need radio therapy we as well a minor surgery once his strength sufficiently improves.

I'm searching for a caregiver for my grandfather. We already have a team however I'm looking to add a new member. I need a team player who understands that communication is key. This is a caregiving job, not a babysitting job. PAB certification is a major plus but not a deal breaker, and you must have many years of experience working with seniors. I'm looking for a candidate to fill 2 night shift positions, 2 full day shift positions, and 5 semi-day shift positions. My grandfather lives in his apartment with surveillance. We have people around the clock to ensure his safety. The night shift begins in the evening, overnight, and finishes in the morning when the next member starts the day shift. You are not required to stay up overnight. The weekend day shift is done side by side with another caregiver from 9am - 7pm. The semi-day shift position is also done side by side with another caregiver from 2pm - 7pm.
