I'm on the lookout for dependable long term, part-time household help, who'd be willing to lend me an extra hand in managing the basic tasks around the house. As I'm scheduled for surgery and will be in recovery for approximately six weeks starting from May to June, the assistance will be much needed. The work hours per week for the role are less than twenty, and the schedule required is very flexible. We are looking to build a work relationship that will last a long time. Your responsibilities will include cleaning the interior of the house and the immediate external areas. Bathroom duties include toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors and floors. Kitchen duties include cleaning dishes, the inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, counters, and floors. Other duties include bed making, linen changing, and laundry - washing and drying clothing and household items.While it would be a bonus if you have a car or a valid license to help in driving a child to daily sporting activities during my recovery period, it is not a requirement for the role. Also, this position is strictly 'live-out', you won't be required to live in with our family and we are very flexible with the days and times you would like to work. We are open to flexible accommodation including your own children being welcome to come with you and spend the time in our home while you are here especially during school vacations. I am seeking a diligent and detail-oriented housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of my home from 15.04.2024. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing a variety of tasks in a part-time role, including house and apartment cleaning, spanning 20 to 30 hours each week. I require a housekeeper who can work in the middle of the day from Monday to Friday. You will be tasked with cleaning the inside of the home and the immediate external areas every day. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper for our large, multi-generational family. We have multiple houses on a large family property east of Fort Langley. Note: our property is not transit accessible. Reliable, personal transportation required. Each day, you will start by supervising one toddler (2.5 years old), helping to get him ready for school, including lunch and belonging packed, preparing meals for the family, and tidying. When his parents have early meetings, you will be supervising him independently. Then you will spend the remainder of your day cleaning (total of 4 homes), performing laundry duties, and ensuring the overall tidiness and functionality of the homes. Occasional assistance with meal preparation and childcare may be required. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30am toam - Supervising toddler, meal prep, tidying 9:30am - 3:30pm - Cleaning & household tasks Responsibilities: - Perform regular and thorough cleaning of all rooms in the houses, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and surface sanitization. - Supervise one toddler every morning, helping to get him ready for school including packing his lunch and belongings for daycare each day. - Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas to maintain a hygienic environment. - Change linens and make beds to ensure freshness and comfort. - Manage laundry tasks, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes and linens. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets, pantries, and storage areas in each home. - Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, washing dishes, and tidying up kitchen surfaces as needed. - Occasionally provide additional childcare support, such as supervising children and assisting with activities under parental guidance. - Communicate effectively with household members to understand their preferences and priorities regarding cleanliness and organization. - Identify and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the household. We have teenagers in the house every other week so they're independent and don't need any caring for except cleaning their rooms and tidying up. Fairly flexible in terms of time of the week but i reckon, Friday would be best. Open to negotiating a salary and fine tuning the scope of work.
