We are currently seeking a skilled health care professional for a role as a Senior Care Provider. Applicants should have a profound interest in positively impacting others' lives, ideally with experience in aged care, or handling conditions like dialysis, dementia, stroke, hospice, diabetes, incontinence, etc.
The job, whether full-time or part-time, requires an immediate start. The work schedule consists of shifts throughout weekdays, with additional availability on Saturday mornings and afternoons preferred.
Tasks include oxygen administration, bathing and dressing assistance, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and client supervision. The role also encompasses ensuring physical care and emotional well-being, by arranging outings to maintain social connections.
Experience with Hoyer lifts, range of motion exercises, bed pan use, catheter/colostomy care, patient positioning, and ambulation assistance, is desired. It is also crucial to have experience assisting with Alzheimer’s/dementia care, Parkinson’s care, palliative care, as well as lifts and transfers.
A valid driver’s license is mandatory due to frequent errands and appointments. A vehicle for professional use can be provided. The work hours will typically range from 40-50 hours per week, with a focus on ensuring a top quality of life for our loved one.
