My father currently receives Homecare for AM and PM care Lately his mobility has become very poor and homecare has been unable to transfer him to his bed at night and he has been struggling to get out of bed in the morning. He is a large man. I don't remember his exact weight, but I am able to lift him with great effort. This job requires a strong person to be able to lift and transfer. I live nearby and I help transfer him in and out of bed. But I will be out of town for 2 weeks from May 16th to May 30th and want to hire someone to help!

If you work in caregiving and are looking for a warm, stable place to live, this might be a natural fit. I’m looking for a caregiver — or someone with caregiving experience — to share our home in Riverbend with me, my wife, and our black German Shepherd. My wife has Alzheimer’s and has professional care during the day. What I’m looking for is someone who’s simply at home in that kind of environment, and available for the occasional evening of light support. Beyond that, it’s a quiet, relaxed household. You’d have a private bedroom and an essentially private bathroom, all utilities included, and a genuinely lovely home in one of Edmonton’s nicest neighbourhoods. In exchange, I’d ask for help keeping the house tidy, some light cleaning, lawn care, and snow shoveling. Rent is $600/month, negotiable depending on the level of involvement you’re comfortable offering. You’d need to be a nonsmoker, a real dog lover, and someone who enjoys being home and part of a household rather than just passing through. References and a background check required. If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you.

When you initially requested my task, you asked if I could expand the provided text. Unfortunately, the text seems to be missing in your submission. I need the specific details or context of the text in order to rewrite it, making it approximately 30-50% longer. Providing a seamless and quality output becomes promising if the initial request is clear and supplies enough context to work with. This will allow a proper rewriting, extension, and restructuring of the text while maintaining the original intent and meaning. If you could kindly resubmit your request and make sure to include the text you'd like me to work on, I would deeply appreciate it. I'm more than happy to apply my linguistic capabilities to provide a thorough and detailed version of your text, expanding it by the requested 30-50%. I'll use reliable methods for this, such as elaboration on points, additional detail, restructuring, and the addition of more complex phrasing. However, my effectiveness is dependent on the inclusion of the original text in the initial request. Therefore, please do include the text that you desire to be rewritten in your next submission. I look forward to fulfilling your request perfectly.

My name is Helen, I’m a young woman working at the University of Alberta with Muscular Dystrophy (specifically Spinal Muscular Atrophy) and I use an electric wheelchair. I’m looking for part-time workers for one day shift (one day a week, 8:30am-4:30pm) and one night shift (2 weeks on/off, 8:30pm-8:30am) starting in October. Previous experience is not required as I’m happy to provide training! Potentially a perfect fit for students! A valid driver’s license is required. I’m looking for someone reliable, responsible, and fun! Long story short, I'm looking for someone to be my arms and legs! As you can imagine, it may be hard to fully describe the position but regular duties will include assistance with personal care routine and getting up/ready in the morning (toileting, dressing, washing face, etc.), transferring between wheelchair and bed (both manual lift and Hoyer lift possible), positioning, and light household chores (i.e., dishes, tidying up). For overnight shifts, my workers have a bed and sleep when I do. I get positioned 3-4 times a night (~5 min each). Most days, I work and have a pretty laid back routine at home. While I work, there’s down time (interspersed with helping me eat snacks and drink coffee)! On other days I may also need accompaniment to appointments, the office, or on city adventures! Pay will be $19/hour during the probation period (3 months), then $20/hour. Overnight shift is paid hourly from 8:30pm-11:30pm, then a flat rate of $50 overnight (total $110/night). I’m open to hiring multiple part-time/overnight positions as long as it’s a good fit, so feel free to throw your hat in the ring! There is the possibility of picking up extra shifts. As an introduction to me as a person, I think I’m very laid back and easygoing. I spend most days working, doing my silly little hobbies, and occasionally will go out on trips to the office/new restaurants/movies etc. I’m happy to chat or just hang out! If you’d like to speak with my current workers about my management style and personality, I’d be happy to put you in touch with them! If you are interested, please send me a short introduction and a little bit about what you will bring to the position! We can set up a video call interview. Let me know if you have any questions! Looking forward to hearing from you!
