The ideal candidate for this Caregiver & Personal Care position will have extensive experience with mobility support, including safe transfers and assisting patients with movements. These attributes are essential as you will constantly be making decisions about the care you provide while also handling personal boundaries and maintaining utmost respect for privacy and confidentiality. Duties and responsibilities for this position will include assistance with personal care tasks such as transfers, bathing, dressing, and grooming. If necessary, the caregiver will provide mobility support such as wheelchair assistance, positioning, light exercises and stretching. Additionally, the individual will be required to help with meal preparation and feeding when required. The role also involves light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing. Providing companionship, assisting with medication, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times are also integral to this position. The work schedule will require availability during morning, midday, evening, and night hours on all seven days of the week. Please note that a driver's license is not a requirement for this position, and automobile use is not applicable. Both live-in and live-out arrangements will be considered, and the position can be either full time or part time.
