Seeking a compassionate and responsible individual to provide live-in support for our 88-year-old mother, enabling her to stay in the comfort of her own home. This comprehensive role involves both full-time and part-time shifts, which include day and night shifts across the week, primarily from Monday to Friday. An ideal candidate should be comfortable working 30 - 40 hours per week. Key responsibilities for the position include a range of motion exercises, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal planning and preparation. Because her vision is very limited, it is necessary to provide some assistance with her daily living activities such as walking, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean bathroom. You will also be required to run errands, escort our mother to various appointments, and plan activities such as visitations and outings to see friends and neighbors. The ability to provide companionship is crucial as well- this is as much a part of the job as the more physical tasks. The successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license and be able to use their own vehicle for transportation, as driving is a key aspect of the role. Experience with visual impairment is a strong advantage and understanding of minor medical ailments would also be beneficial. We aim to fill this position by the 27th of January, 2026. We believe it's a wonderful opportunity for someone who wishes to make a real difference in someone's life. We hope to find someone who is genuinely caring and patient, with a willing spirit to serve our mother as she navigates the latter part of her life journey. Please get in touch if you believe you might be the right fit for this role.

I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill a Senior/Health Care role, starting from the 22nd January 2026. This job will be full-time or part-time depending on your availability and expertise, involving 20-30 hours of work every week. Ideal applicants should be able to work flexibly on most days of the week. The required work schedule includes middle-of-the-day and evening shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As this role does not require driving, applicants need not possess a driver’s license. Likewise, the use of an automobile is not applicable in this case. The main responsibilities, not limited to, but primarily include housekeeping, meal planning, meal preparation, and assistance with walking. Experience with or willingness to work with patients recovering from a fractured hip is greatly appreciated. This post is for a live-out position, so applicants should ideally reside within a convenient commuting distance. If you believe you are the right fit for this role and have a desire to deliver quality senior care, please get in touch.
