My Mom's a battler! Was in a coma for 4 months 11 yrs ago on mother's day. She wasn't supposed to make it but she's defied all odds. Since then her heart hasn't been good but she has the most beautiful heart and loving energy despite her circumstances. She's a true lady whose spirits rise when she can socialize. We're in need of part time care just 1 hr at a time 2 times per day every 2nd week (14 hrs wkly/28 hrs per month). We essentially need a caregiver to provide meals while I'm away working plus just help her with movement getting to and from the bathroom. Light cleaning duties may be involved... and good social skills with a nice energy are very welcomed!!

I have three children. One daughter is 19 years old with special needs. She is nonverbal with Global developmental delay. She needs help in her day-to-day programs and activities at home. The job will also include meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping. We are looking for a full-time, Monday through Friday, and long-term caregiver to maintain consistency in the care. The hourly rate is $22.5 for 40 hours per week. This is a live-our working situation.

I am in search of a part time senior care provider to take care of my 92-year-old father. We need someone to supplement his current care giver and provide services every second weekend from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The role requires a high degree of skill, flexibility and dedication, the need for some nursing experience is vital as he has reduced mobility and contends with several chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis and hearing impairment. The responsibilities that come with this position are extensive and diverse. The role involves personal care tasks such as dressing, grooming, toileting and bathing assistance. As he lives in a large condo with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, household duties such as housekeeping, laundry, vacuuming and bathroom cleaning also form part of the daily routine. Daily tasks also include running errands, meal planning, grocery shopping, preparing and serving meals at breakfast with an afternoon snack and dinner. Duties include administering medicine and escorting my Dad on outings and some social functions. Other chores like changing lightbulbs, maintaining the fireplace and barbeque, washing and filling up the car are expected to be looked after. Given the comprehensive work schedule and scope of responsibilities, the successful candidate will need to have a driver's license. A car will be provided for job-related tasks and errands. Ideal applicants should have patience, compassion and a deep sense of respect for seniors. If excellent communication skills in English is a must, especially as my dad is hard of hearing. We are looking for a dedicated support staff member that can provide focused assistance to an adult who suffers from stable Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The patient presents with a notable weakness on their right side which requires some additional care in everyday activities. The ideal candidate for this role would identify as female, and should ideally be literate in computer usage. This nuance aids in managing any potential online tasks or appointments that could arise during the course of caring for the individual. Apart from indoor care, the role occasionally involves venturing outside the home for various errands. One such requirement would include accompanying the patient for shopping trips to the mall. The ideal candidate should thus, be comfortable navigating commercial environments to aid in the comfortable and smooth conduct of such outings. In addition to this, the individual would also need to escort the patient to and from medical appointments. As such appointments require the use of an accessible vehicle, comfort and knowledge in this specific type of transportation would be a considerable asset. Aside from assistance with movement, the individual in our care also requires exposure to certain physical activities. These may involve active and/or passive exercises, aimed at maintaining the patient's physical health. Moreover, the utilization of an electric massage chair might also be required to ensure the physical well-being of the patient. As such, the preferred candidate would have working knowledge of such healthcare equipment. An additional facet of this role includes meal planning and preparation. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of nutrition, so as to assist in crafting simple, yet healthy meals that would adequately cater to the patient's dietary needs. All these responsibilities require a compassionate and attentive individual to refine the everyday quality of life for the recipient of these services.
