My husband and I are in our early 40s and both of us are professionals. Both of us are also physically disabled (wheelchair-bound). We are looking for 1 part-time caregiver to assist us with day-to-day needs. Qualities that are important to us are: -Integrity -Willingness to learn -Positive attitude -Patience Please note that the work is broken shifts but the salary is good enough that you don't need to look for another job. Shifts can start as early as 4:30 AM. Generally, we need about 3-4 hours of care in the morning, I need assistance for approximately 2 hours throughout the day and then both of us need approximately 2 hours together in the evening. We don't have an issue if you go out in between shifts as long as we are in communication.

Our mother lives in her home and is kind, high functioning and independent. Looking for someone with similar qualities who could be with her about 6-7 hours per day, to help her with meals and light housekeeping. Actual hours can be flexible, but include late morning to dinner. She is active and enjoys walks and gardening. She doesn't require (or want) constant attention. She has short term memory loss and sometimes gets confused about some tasks, but does not wander away or get lost. We would like someone to be with her in case of emergency. Doesn't need bathroom help, and is very easy to get along with.

We are looking for a home care worker for my dad. He lives with my mom in Coquitlam and has Parkinsons. My mom is not able to care for him by herself any more and has her own mobility issues. They are very kind people and we would really like for them to continue to be together at home but help is needed to make this viable. Dad has difficulty talking but mom is very chatty and friendly. Dad needs help with getting up and down, grooming, bathing and toilet assist. Mom needs help with errands and a few household tasks. We are flexible on schedule but would like 20 to 30 hours/ week to start with.
