My dog's name is Mitch. He is a 16 to 17 year old Chihuahua Terrier cross. I am unsure of his age because I adopted him when he was one or two years old. He has some dementia, so his house training has slipped quite a bit. But other than that, he's a very easy dog to take care of, as he sleeps a lot and he doesn't need walking.
My home is a 1960s renovated house very close to downtown Maple Ridge. It's got a huge backyard, and I am an excellent gardener so it has a beautiful garden with a pond. And there's a big deck on the back of the house overlooking the garden and a small flock of chickens I keep in the back. My little flock are very easy to take care of: I just let them out into their pen in the morning, throw some scratch, check their food, collect the eggs and make sure they have clean water. And in the evening I close them up again in their coop.
I also have a pair of budgies who are very happy with their own company and only need to have their seeds refilled every day and their water as well. And I have a small aquarium with very easy fish - just guppies, so you don't need to worry about any of them dying.
It looks like this site is for posting actual regular jobs, so I've got to be clear that this is not one of those. It's coverage for while I'm on vacation for three weeks in May and June this year. But it would be a very enjoyable, relaxing three weeks in a gracious home with lovely pets, and a beautiful garden. And if we're a good match, opportunity for more work in the future, when I'm on vacation again.
