I'm on the hunt for a dedicated, warm-hearted nanny who adores spending time with children. The position I have available would be looking after my 5-year-old high needs daughter (ADHD-ODD) and it's a full or part-time live-out role. Would love someone who is multi-lingual (English/French/Arabic/Italian)-not required but she is learning French in school and comes from a background of Arabic/Italian. This lovely job wouldn't be limited to just childcare; the responsibilities also include cooking and light housekeeping to ensure a smooth-flowing and harmonious home environment. Preparing meals specifically for the child would be part of the daily routine, and it's imperative that you adhere to special dietary rules we follow at home, such as halal & lactose intolerance diets. A crucial element of your job would be to transport the child when needed. Consequently, a driver's license is a must-have for this role and candidates would be required to use their own car. Furthermore, helping to bathe and dress the child is part of the job and occasionally, there will be pet care duties (we have a 1 year old 7lbs dog) no dog walking necessary but would love someone who is dog friendly and can give love and attention to her (feed-give water-the basics). The work schedule will be mainly in the evenings, kicking off Monday through to Sunday. On Fridays and Saturdays, there will be an added requirement for night time coverage as well. The total working hours per week for this job range from 30 to 40 hours or more/less depending on the week. We are a family of four looking for a part time nanny to help with the busy evening hours. We have two children ages 8 months and 3 years. We are looking for some extra help from the hours of 5-7pm to help with dinner preparation, dinner time, bath and bedtime, kitchen cleanup and quick tidying up of the toys. We are looking for a nanny or sitter for our lovely 2-year old daughter. For now, it would be occasional, we have just recently moved here from the GTA and would like someone reliable to care for our daughter in the event we both (my partner and I) need to be out of the house. My partner, Brendan, works full-time. I am a Birth & Postpartum doula trying to build my business up here in the Ottawa area. This means I will be on-call from time to time, which I would also need our sitter to be on call. I will know well in advance the dates of my birth clients (when I'm on-call), so I will be able to schedule you for on-call at that time as well. We would almost never require overnight care, unless my partner was away for work (only 1-2 times per year). Additionally, as we have moved away from family, we would like someone we can trust to call when we have plans to go out, or if I have a work event while Brendan is working.
