Looking for someone who is trustworthy and affectionate to look after my one year old son 3 days a week while i work from home. the day would start at 8 am and end at 4pm. Cleaning and preparing lunch would also be nice if possible. We are friendly and accommodating, i would like my son to have someone who is caring with who he can feel comfortable. Thank you!

Position: Nanny/Mother’s Helper Job Duties: • Keep children’s areas neat and tidy • Caring for 2 children under 4 and at times a third child aged 5 • Laundry may be required • Transport children to and from activities • Meal prep for children and family • Care for dog (filling food and water bowls) • May include additional household tasks (cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, laundry) • Take care of children’s daily needs, diaper changes etc. • Meet physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of children • Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulation environment for children to thrive and develop Skills: • Candidate must enjoy spending time with children. • Candidate must hold a valid drivers license. • Candidate must have experience (5-10 years) working with children or in a related field. Not mandatory but preference will go to candidates who have experience teaching young children. Terms of Employment: • Candidate must be willing to work 30 hours per week • Candidate must be willing to work between the hours of 6am and 10pm all 7 days of the week due to shift work • Candidate must be a non-smoker • Candidate must be available on short notice (ie. 4 hours) due to shift work Language of work: English essential and French essential Wage: $17-$20/hr

We are searching for a nurturing and fun-loving nanny to care for 2 children (1 Toddler for daytime care and 1 5yo for after school care) in our own home or yours. Ideally you should be experienced, reliable, and trustworthy with at least two reference whom we may call. We do live in the mountains so a reliable vehicle and good driving record is required if you will be caring for the children in our home.

Julia is a positive, loving and sociable child who has cognitive and physical difficulties. With her parents working demanding full time work, it is difficult to meet her needs. She needs someone who can help her with homework after school, read and play with her. Light house cleaning and meal preparation for her would also be much appreciated but not obligatory.
