Throughout my entire life, I have had the pleasure of owning and caring for pet cats. These wonderful creatures have been a constant presence and brought immense joy, companionship and comfort to my everyday living. My experience with felines, however, is not limited to personal ownership. I have been called upon on numerous occasions to babysit and care for cats as part of various babysitting jobs I have undertaken. During these babysitting stints, my duties extended well past the standard child care duties, also encompassing 24/7 cat care. This included both daily and overnight duties, making sure the feline companions were well cared for, safe, and comfortable while their owners were away. In addition to this, I have frequently lent my time and knowledge to aid others during their pet adoption journey. This process is certainly an exciting but equally daunting time for many. Therefore, I have stepped in to provide guidance, ensuring they have all the necessary information to make the best decision. This includes helping them buy the appropriate pet supplies – from cat food that provides the right nutrients, to comfortable pet beds, toys, and more – essentially everything needed to facilitate a smooth transition for their new feline friend into their home. What's more, I have also offered assistance in the actual selection process of picking the perfect cat. Through years of experience and understanding the unique behaviour and traits of different cats, I have been able to advise prospective cat parents about the breed, age and temperaments that may best suit their lifestyles. In summary, my lifetime love affair with cats spans not only personal ownership but also includes various pet-related responsibilities such as overnight babysitting jobs and providing help and advice to those going through the cat adoption process. From purchasing the right pet supplies to aiding in the selection of the perfect feline companion, I've done it all, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have had pet cats my whole life, I have looked after cats during babysitting jobs (including overnight) and I have helped others throughout the cat adoption process from purchasing the proper pet supplies to finding the perfect cat. As of August, 2024, I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Rights. I am looking into obtaining a Masters degree in Animal Psychology, and I believe that looking after pets would offer significant experience that would benefit my future education.

I am also in contact with a behaviour trainer when I need to get more help and to learn when I need to - she used to work out a rescue and boarding for Rottweilers called Keshet kennels that we visited periodically when we went away . They are amazing with their dog rehabilitation . Debbie the owner their had also been a huge help in teaching us many things in helping us help out dogs as many are rescues .
