Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Alta Vista/Heron/Ottawa South) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexibility for occasional weekends) Additional Information: Reliability and flexibility are essential qualities for the nanny to possess. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny to provide nurturing care for our 20-month-old toddler on a full-time basis, with additional responsibilities including pick up and drop off for our 10-year-old child and occasional weekend care for both children. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities: Provide attentive and compassionate care for our 20-month-old toddler, ensuring his safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Engage in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, reading, and outdoor exploration. Serve nutritious meals and snacks for the toddler, following any dietary guidelines provided by the parents. Meals will be provided. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up toys and children's areas, and performing light housekeeping tasks related to the children's care. Transport the 10-year-old child to and from school. Be available for occasional weekend care for both children, as agreed upon with advance notice. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; child care certification or relevant coursework preferred. CPR, AED, and Standard First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Ability to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities as needed. Must be female-identifying.
