Nanny/Babysitter in Hamilton - Flexible Nanny/Babysitter Needed
We are a family in need of a flexible, reliable, and patient Nanny/Babysitter to help out with our two young boys aged 1 and 4 years old. The job is part-time and requires you to be at our home on Mondays for the morning and middle of the day, and Thursday mornings. We may need an evening once or twice a month on a Friday or Saturday. A significant aspect of this role involves some light housekeeping, preparing meals for the children, keeping the kitchen tidy, and helping out with our pet care duties (2 cats) whenever needed. Hence, someone willing to multi-task and committed to making our daily routines a lot smoother is highly desirable. Another requirement for this job is the ability to drive. The nanny/babysitter must hold a valid driver’s license and own a car as this role may involve some driving errands, for example, running light errands whenever required. Please note that while this is a live-out position, we need someone who is flexible and understanding to adjust to our routines and the kids’ needs. One parent works from home FT and works in a dedicated office. Keeping the kids engaged is most important. If you love kids, know how to handle them with care, are an excellent multitasker, and are comfortable working with pets, then you will fit perfectly in our setup. I am hoping to start with the successful candidate mid May or soon after. Please contact me if you need more information or if you meet the qualifications above.

My wife and I are expecting twins this fall and have a toddler who will be 2 in June. The main requirement is Saturday morning, but we are open to once or twice a week, with total flexibility on the second weekly day/time. I teach a yoga class on Saturday mornings and would like to continue to do so after the twins are here. I won't leave my wife at home with twin newborns and a toddler, so I'm mainly seeking Saturday morning care. You would come over; my wife will be here some weekends and gone others. You will only ever be left alone with either the twins or the toddler, never all three as that would be a lot! When here, the idea is to care for the kids and play with them. If they are all sleeping or entertained, light housework would be amazing but not the main expectation. Food preparation would be minimal i.e. formula for babies and cutting fruit or heating up pre-prepared meals for the toddler. We live walking distance to a lot of parks and have a fenced in backyard. We do not require you to drive at all but if you do, we have a second vehicle you could potentially access with the kids if wanted. We do have two dogs, but they can be left in crates while you're here if you're not comfortable with dogs. We don't require you to care for, feed, walk, the dogs at all.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids age 9 and 11. I am looking for occasional care for 24 hours at a time while I work. Ideally you would be able to come over at 6:30am, and would stay until the same time the following morning. The kids are pretty independent but sometimes need a lift to sports and other activities, as well as some help making meals. It would be a few times a month over the summer on varying days. If this sounds like a good fit, send me a message!

I co-parent 2 girls (6 & 8) with my ex-wife; both homes located in Hamilton. While we often have grandma's and each other available for babysitting, I'd like to establish a relationship with a sitter that Carly (ex-wife) and I can contact when other avenues aren't available. While I don't expect we would be reaching out often, one major upcoming event where I know I will need some help is on Saturday August 1st from about ~2 PM - 11PM at my home. If we can align on this major date, I'd find other opportunities for you to spend time with the girls leading up to August 1st. Notes: youngest daughters is celiac and vehicle requirement is flexible as Uber is fine for personal transportation. There would be no need to transport the girls anywhere. I can cover these costs so they aren't out of pocket for you.

I am in immediate need of a part-time nanny who can assist in caring for my 4 children. The ages of the children range from 3-5 years, 6-9 years, and over 10 years. The role requires a commitment of less than 20 hours per week during weekday mornings, from Monday to Friday. One of the essential necessities for this job is that the nanny must hold a driver's license and be comfortable using their own car for the job. This is mainly because I'll need assistance with transportation for the children, ensuring they reach certain places in a timely and safe manner. As part of the role, job responsibilities will also include helping the children with their homework. This would involve providing guidance and ensuring they stay focused, while also encouraging a positive attitude towards education. Whether you are looking for a live-in or a live-out position, both options are open in this case. However, since the required work schedule is set for mornings, it could be a suitable opportunity for individuals seeking a live-out arrangement. To qualify for this role, being a responsible, dependable, and caring individual with experience in childcare is a must. An understanding of the child development stages and patience for various age groups is essential too. Looking forward to receiving applications from qualified candidates. Please make sure that your application contains references and other proof of experience.

I am currently in search of an individual who can offer assistance with the care of my child, specifically helping with light preparations of meals and facilitating fun, play-focused activities for my 3 year old son once school concludes in the afternoon. Currently, he spends his day at a daycare. After leaving the daycare, I'll be needing additional support to help maintain a structured routine for him after school. The suitable candidate would have the option of either I pick my son up from daycare, or they could do so instead. Once he is home, it would be expected that the individual would be able to aid in the facilitation of a structured schedule that includes numerous activities. The array of activities and tasks include having time of both structured and free play. This means balancing organised activities that aid his cognitive development, along with moments where he is allowed to freely express himself without guidelines. An important component of this schedule is outdoor play, which would involve monitoring and joining him in age-appropriate outdoor activities that not only keep him active but also stimulates his sense of exploration and curiosity. Another primary task would involve helping with dinner, which can range from light meal preparations or simply aiding him as he learns to feed himself. We would also appreciate your help in instilling in him a love for literature, therefore, picking out children's books to read to him prior to bedtime would also form a part of his daily routine. After dinner, the individual will be required to assist with bath time procedures. Ensuring he is comfortably bathed, while also teaching him the essential hygiene practices as he grows older. After bath, you will be instrumental in ushering him to bed and enforcing his bedtime routine. During the night, it may be necessary for the caregiver to attend to him if he wakes up. The individual should be able to calmly and effectively lull him back to sleep, ensuring that he remains comfortable and safe throughout the course of the entire night, until morning light. In a nutshell, your role would be to provide a healthy mix of care and fun while instilling valuable life skills and good habits in my son.
