We are in need of part time childcare for our 2 boys. One of our children is special needs (no diagnosis but likely ADHD with impulsivity and some aggressive behaviour). We would also need dog walking, meal prep and light house keeping / errands. Those applying must have a driver's license and be ok with a child that is difficult to manage at times. The older child is in school full time and the younger child is in school half days.

Caregiving Tasks: - caregiving mainly for younger boy - will attend classes at a walkable distance, in Kerrisdale community centre and private club. - meal prep for children - light housekeeping and laundry for children (should be able to maintain a tidy space generally, clean kitchen, clean floors so that children cannot eat or get hurt on surfaces) House Management tasks: - cooking for family or prep for cooking by me (chopping, marinating, for example) - some laundry for adults on occasion - deep cleaning skills are not necessary but we are willing to prove extra hours/compensation for deep cleaning (this will not be done at the same time as caregiving duties) - light grocery shopping on occasion (next to community centre or private club) You do not need a drivers license but we expect comfort with public transit and a willingness to travel to the park, beach, farmers markets, etc. We will never expect you to do all caregiving and house management tasks every day, but we will build your schedule with these tasks in mind. I'm seeking a Vietnamese nanny and housekeeper who can assist with taking care of my two young children during mornings and evenings. Ideally, I'd like someone to start from 08.06.2026. This is a live-out, part-time position typically requiring you to work between 20 - 30 hours per week, specifically on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday both in the mornings and evenings. Your major duties will involve basic housekeeping tasks, cooking, doing the family laundry, and also the children's laundry. Furthermore, I require someone who can assist with the morning and evening routines of my children which include bathing and dressing them, as well as transporting them to daycare. Since this role involves transporting children, it is necessary to have a valid driver's license. However, you won't need to worry about transportation as my family can provide a car for your exclusive use during working hours. My kids, aged between 1-2 years and 3-5 years old, are fun-loving, energetic, and curious. I'm seeking someone who can not only take care of their basic needs but also engage them with age-appropriate activities, fostering their development in a warm and nurturing environment. If you have excellent time management skills, a love for children, and a knack for domestic tasks, you might just be the perfect fit for our family. Looking forward to hearing from potential candidates soon.

We have always enjoyed having a nanny as part of our family. The kids are older now, easier & more independent but also busier. I am a single mom that has a business so life is always a juggling act. We thrive when all aspects of running the household is handed over to an expert like you. There is now less child rearing, it’s more about getting good food into them, cleaning & laundry, having them following the schedule and the rules. The kids are happy and have no behavioral issues (yet :)) and are used to a nanny that felt like a friend and/or a parent. For me, it’s about getting simple somewhat healthy food made for them at dinner. Staying on top of the endless laundry, housekeeping and organization and having the kids be involved in the process so that they become responsible, capable humans. We live walking distance to the school for pick up, then activities and the ability to take them to various programs if needed. Hours are flexible and have options but being there afterschool is mandatory. Do not need early mornings or late nights but occasionally might want an overnight stay. You will not be micromanaged by me, in fact you will need to be proactive and intuitive as I will trust you to do the job. Having a car is a huge bonus. It wont be often but being able to run errands is very helpful.
