I’m Taryn.
I am a huge lover of travel, food, and the environment. I have extensive experience working in the non-profit sector, advocating and fundraising for notable charities such as the David Suzuki Foundation, Environmental Defence Canada, Nature Conservancy of Canada, and GreenPeace. I work with a community partner to collect items to hand out to individuals experiencing homelessness, families, and newcomers in need. I take additional custom requests for community members in extreme situations. I have volunteered with Homes First to assist in programming for those who are difficult to maintain housing and whom experience addiction and mental health complications. I also volunteer with non-profit organizations like EcoSource to tend to community gardens to harvest healthy food for food banks and assist with cooking classes.
Most importantly, I adore children. As my husband and I cannot ave children of our own, I have been so blessed over the past years to have had the opportunity to be welcomed into and trusted by families to care for the most precious beings in their lives, and trusted in their homes. My relationships have brought so much joy into my life.
I look forward to meeting you and your families to build trusting relationships and bonds with your children.
