I am 19 years old and am a first year Linguistics student at the University of Toronto Scarborough! I am originally from Chicago but have lived in New Delhi, India for two years as a child and Brescia, Italy over this last summer. I love learning languages, can speak Italian (and Spanish + Hindi not very well). When I am not in school I love spending time outdoors, hiking, camping and travelling! Over the years I have held many jobs and I believe that my biggest strength is my people skills - I love meeting new people and learning about them, especially kids! Other than my babysitting and nannying experience, I have worked in the restaurant industry, in retail, and I am currently also modelling. I have been taking care of children since the age of 10 through my home church and babysitting for numerous different families in my neighbourhood. I have long-term nannied for three families including a family in Italy this summer, all ranging in ages. I love hanging out with kids; usually I aim to keep them off of technology and I love taking them to parks, on walks, and helping them to stay engaged with the world around them.
