We are a loving family looking for a part-time housekeeper for 18-25 hours/ week. We need someone that can help us clean, organize and maintain our household, do laundry, make dinner, and have a valid drivers license to drive our daughter to activities and occasionally pick-up from school. We are flexible with times and days of the week and will work with the suitable candidate to determine a fixed schedule.

Job Summary A loving, organized and experienced Nanny/Housekeeper is needed for a busy family in the north Rosedale area of Toronto. Nanny duties: We are looking for someone experienced working with school age children who is warm, and organized. The family has two boys who are 6 and 8 years old. The nanny will be responsible for getting the children up, fed and ready for school in the morning, dropping them off and picking them up from school as well as driving them to and from activities. The nanny will be responsible for keeping the children’s backpacks organized and ensuring that children are on top of their homework. Housekeeping duties: The children are in school and summer camps full-time. While the children are in school the nanny/housekeeper will be responsible for running errands, doing groceries, deep cleaning of the house, changing bedsheets, family laundry as well as preparing family meals. The family has a small, elderly dog who requires minimal care. A nanny car, gas and milage is provided to the nanny to use during work hours. There is some travel required as the family has a second home in Florida. The family requires the nanny to travel with them for 2-3 weeks over the winter break and 2-3 weeks over the spring break. All travel expenses, accommodations and meals while on duty will be paid for and a the nanny will be paid a minimum of 40 hours per week while travelling with the family. The housekeeper will play an integral role in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment, making it a comfortable space to live in. The working hours for this full-time position are: Monday, Wednesday - morning, middle of day, and evening; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - morning and middle of the day; and Saturday - middle of day and evening. The workweek will consist of approximately 40 - 50 hours. The responsibilities will primarily consist of cleaning the interior of the home and the immediate external areas. This may include but is not limited to, kitchen cleaning, such as washing dishes, taking care of the inside and outside of the fridge, oven, dishwasher, cupboards, pantry, counters, and floors.
