We are looking for an experienced housekeeper / nanny who is trustworthy, reliable, flexible, caring, responsible and fun to help maintain our home and complement our busy blended family (3 kids full time, and 3 kids part time)! Kids are between the ages of 8 and 14. We are looking for a long-term commitment and offering a guaranteed weekly flat rate for 25-30 hours/week (roughly 5-6 hours per day). Housekeeping / nanny hours may be broken up in the day, but nanny core working hours are afterschool (from 3:30) but may shift slightly depending on kids schedule, activities, days of the week, etc. Core duties include daily and weekly housekeeping responsibilities maintaining a large home: all household laundry, including bed linens, preparing/taking out/bringing in the garbage, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, showers, etc. dusting, vacuuming, mopping, loading and unloading the dishwasher, putting groceries away, meal prep, etc. Nannying duties include picking up kids from school, taking to/from activities (soccer, hockey, gymnastics, play dates, etc.), preparing dinner for kids, snacks, helping with homework, tidying up, and playing with the kids / supervising them until we get home from work. We have a swimming pool, so being a strong swimmer is considered an asset. Housekeeping duties are consistent but childcare / nannying duties may vary evening to evening depending on schedules. Flexibility is required, but we will maintain a base schedule. There will also be many additional opportunities (if interested/available) for occasional babysitting, date nights, overnights, etc. We will have a minivan for use on the job, but you must have a valid, clean driver's license. I am currently seeking a reliable, hardworking individual committed to a long-term arrangement for a housekeeper position in my home. The role will require you to work 20-30 hours per week, particularly on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings. To help maintain a pleasant living environment, the candidate I am looking for should also be comfortable with pet care, garden and household plant care. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to rotate seasonal clothing in closets, maintain the pantry, and routinely clear out of date and spoiled items. Since a driver's license is required, the housekeeper should be able to use their own car when necessary for various tasks. While the job offers both a live-in or live-out arrangement, please note that this is a part-time position. Preferred start date for the successful candidate is immediately.
