Looking for a thorough and detail-oriented housekeeper on a part-time basis who is skilled in all aspects of household cleaning and organization. I am seeking a housekeeper to join our household around April 2026. This part-time, live-out position requires a commitment of less than 20 hours per week, with a preferred work schedule of one day between Monday to Friday in the mornings and/or mid-day. Your primary responsibility will be to keep the home and its immediate surroundings clean and well-organized. This includes detailed tasks such as kitchen cleaning, encompassing dishes, the inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. You are also expected to handle our laundry needs such as washing and drying clothing and household items. Additionally, you will be assisting with meal preparation and service. Frequent errands, including grocery shopping, will fall under your responsibilities, requiring the use of your own car. Therefore, a valid driver's license is mandatory for this role. Furthermore, you will be tasked with ensuring that household supplies are always fully stocked, taking care of our pet (a large, yet very timid and loving dog), and our indoor plants. Responsibilities also include rotating seasonal clothing in closets, maintaining the pantry, and routinely discarding out-of-date and spoiled items. Making beds and changing linens will be another task. Given that this is a house cleaning role, cleaning the exterior of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher, as well as bathrooms, will also be part of your duties.
