I'm searching for a responsible and caring individual who can lend a helping hand during the occasional late evenings. My husband and I have a lovely 4-month old son who sleeps quite soundly, typically falling asleep between 8:30-9:00PM and sleeping through the night. As my spouse and I are hoping to reintroduce date nights into our schedule, we need someone to simply be in our home for 2-3 hours as our little one sleeps. This means you can watch TV, do some light cleaning, keep our kitchen tidy or even walk our Golden Retriever. You would be expected to be on the premises but the role would largely happen while our son is asleep. The rare instances when our son wakes, you would just need to notify us and we would return immediately. Therefore, your primary role would be to provide a sense of security rather than hands-on childcare. As such, this vacancy does not require a driver's license and automobile use is not applicable. Trustworthiness and a love for animals are key, as we also have two cats along with our Golden Retriever. The work schedule needed is part-time involving less than 20 hours per week, primarily spanning over Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. This unique part-time role, that we'd like to title as "Evening Newborn Watch", is open for immediate start. Your responsibilities may include some light housekeeping, pet care, and ensuring our kitchen stays clean. This role may be ideal for a student, retiree, or anyone who enjoys tranquil nights and furry companions. As a single father with a growing business who's required to travel frequently, I have an immediate need for some assistance with my genuinely pleasant and well-behaved 10-year-old son. I am seeking an experienced and caring nanny who can join our small family. The need arises principally on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 7 PM and every other weekend. There is flexibility with respect to living arrangements as both live-in and live-out conditions will be considered. This position can either be on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on your availability and our mutual agreement. Your primary responsibilities would involve caring for my son, cooking, housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, and doing the family laundry. You might also need to plan meals and events, tidy the kitchen, and on occasion, organise and clean the entire house. Given the requirement to transport my son and perform some of the duties, the possession of a driver's license is a necessity. Don’t worry if you don't have a car, we can provide one solely for your use during working hours. On average, you would be expected to work somewhere between 20 to 30 hours per week. Our family is looking for a caring and reliable nanny for our energetic and sweet toddler boy. He will be 3 years old in December 2023. Work schedule to include some weekdays from around 4:45pm until around 7:30pm, and occasionally some hours on the weekend. May require extended hours on the occasional weeknight (ie until 9:30pm). We are due to have another baby in November 2023, however the nanny will not be responsible for any direct care of the newborn as mom will be on maternity leave. Number of hours needed will increase after the baby is born (i.e. our toddler will need to be picked up every day after daycare for several weeks). Duties to include: -picking up the child from daycare (by 5pm) and bringing him home (we have a car seat, and we require our nanny to have their own car and valid driver's license) -transporting the child to and from the occasional extra-curricular activity if it falls during work schedule -engaging in indoor and outdoor play with the child and reading with him -feeding the child snacks and dinner as needed. May include light meal prep -the child is in the process of being toilet-trained, so will still require changing as needed -light housekeeping as needed Any specialized training (post-secondary training related to child development, CPR and First Aid Certification), prior experience and criminal background check is definitely an asset. We plan to home school our girls & travel abroad 4 months a year, so a Canadian passport would be a very helpful for this travel. My wife is a stay-at-home mom, but helps with my business part-time and I work from home office, but have a busy schedule 40-50 hours a week. We live in a beautiful estate here in west London (ON) with beautiful acreage around us at the edge of the city (private heated swim spa pool, play ground in the back & private sled hill etc.). We have a beautiful cottage on the lake we plan to spend most of the summer in. Our home is a large estate with 6 bedrooms & 6 baths, so we definitely have space for someone to live-in but also need help keeping it clean with 3 young, energetic, creative girls. We need assistance with relief on house cleaning, help with cooking & meal prep, and help to tutor the children (oldest home schooling program) & help enrich their lives with the attention they need like excursions to nearby parks, museum, library, walking trailers etc . We are walking distance to many amenities but would allow use of our vehicle We do travel and there are opportunities to travel with us as part of the family . This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to become a part of our family. We need help managing our busy lives but most importantly is enriching our 3 girls lives.
