I am seeking a caring and reliable individual to aid my mom during the evenings. This senior care role primarily involves assisting her with late-night necessities such as trips to the bathroom, medication administration, repositioning, and attending to any small needs she might have throughout the night. While she often sleeps soundly through most of the night, we require someone who can provide the necessary care and attention whenever she needs it. The chosen individual will have the option of sleeping in a provided chair, couch or cot, based on preference. The preferred start date for this position is immediate. A schedule of evening hours from Monday to Sunday is required, estimating between 30 - 40 hours a week. This is a live-out, part-time position. Your responsibilities would include - but not be limited to - aiding with walking, Parkinson's care, patient positioning, toileting assistance, and grooming/dressing assistance. We prefer an individual either willing to work with or who has prior experience dealing with Parkinson's disease patients. Please be advised that a driver's license is not required for this role and the use of an automobile is not applicable. Care for people and families during periods of illness or recovery. Provide bedside and personal care to clients and help them move, bathe, groom and get dressed and undressed. Plan and prepare meals. Teach new parents to care for an infant. Change non-sterile dressings and give oral medications as instructed by your home care agency or supervisor. My father (70yrs) is having knee surgery and could use help for a few weeks until he is back to his regular self. He is worried he will not be able to manage. Daily support such as bring food, guide him on how to deal with the knee. At least 1 time per day (morning), although possibly 2 visits per day, for a few weeks.

We're looking for a PSW to help my father with his daily exercise. Bathing, dressing, and grooming may also be required. Hours would be from 4-6 pm. Candidate would need to be relatively strong in order to help him with his walking (he uses a walker) and other exercises (including a stationary bike).
