I am seeking a caring and reliable individual to aid my mom during the evenings. This senior care role primarily involves assisting her with late-night necessities such as trips to the bathroom, medication administration, repositioning, and attending to any small needs she might have throughout the night. While she often sleeps soundly through most of the night, we require someone who can provide the necessary care and attention whenever she needs it. The chosen individual will have the option of sleeping in a provided chair, couch or cot, based on preference. The preferred start date for this position is immediate. A schedule of evening hours from Monday to Sunday is required, estimating between 30 - 40 hours a week. This is a live-out, part-time position. Your responsibilities would include - but not be limited to - aiding with walking, Parkinson's care, patient positioning, toileting assistance, and grooming/dressing assistance. We prefer an individual either willing to work with or who has prior experience dealing with Parkinson's disease patients. Please be advised that a driver's license is not required for this role and the use of an automobile is not applicable.
