We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time housekeeper to help us with cleaning, pet care and running errands in lovely Tillsonburg. Our home is composed of two females, aged 32 and 71, plus our two adorable Yorkies, aged 10 months and 3 years. We are friendly and open to negotiation. The housekeeper's responsibilities will primarily consist of maintaining cleanliness in our home and immediate external areas. This includes duties such as kitchen cleaning, covering washing of dishes, maintaining the cleanliness of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters and floors inside and outside. Laundry duties encompass washing, drying of our clothes and household items. We would also require assistance with meal preparation and service. The housekeeper would also be responsible for grocery shopping, completing household errands and ensuring our household supplies are fully stocked. Pet care is an integral part of the role as we have two Yorkies that need attention and care. The housekeeper will also be expected to manage seasonal clothes in our closets, maintain our pantry, and routinely clear out-of-date and spoiled items. Other duties include bed making, linen changing, and cleaning the outside of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The schedule extends from Monday to Sunday, covering morning, midday, evening, and night shifts, totaling more than 50 hours per week. Our preferred start date is 15th April 2025. This role requires a driver's license, and while we can provide a family car for use on the job, having your own means of transportation would be advantageous. This live-in position does offer an accommodating and homely environment. Nonetheless, we're equally open to live-out arrangements if that's preferable for the successful candidate. I am currently seeking a reliable, hardworking individual committed to a long-term arrangement for a housekeeper position in my home. The role will require you to work 20-30 hours per week, particularly on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings. (Totally negotiable as well, I’m not too set on exact days or times) Key responsibilities include keeping both the interior and immediate exterior areas of the home clean. In the kitchen, this includes doing the dishes, cleaning inside and outside the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, and countertops, as well as the floors. The candidate should also be comfortable with laundry tasks such as washing, drying of clothes plus other household items, while also offering a hand in the preparation of meals (including cooking and serving on special events). As the housekeeper, it's important for you to ensure that household supplies are frequently restocked. This role also involves ironing, bed making, linen changing, and the thorough cleaning of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher exteriors. To help maintain a pleasant living environment, the candidate I am looking for should also be comfortable with pet care, garden and household plant care. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to rotate seasonal clothing in closets, maintain the pantry, and routinely clear out of date and spoiled items. Since a driver's license is required, the housekeeper should be able to use their own car when necessary for various tasks. While the job offers both a live-in or live-out arrangement, please note that this is a part-time position. Preferred start date for the successful candidate is immediately.
