Hello and thanks for reading. As the posting title says, I am a mom who needs some help around the house - I have identical twin girls who just are 2 years old and we live in Langley. One twin is waiting for a daycare spot to open (estimated April 2) so we're looking for someone to join our family full time for the month of March 2024 (7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm). The position would move to part time in April. 5 days per week would be great, but we are flexible and would consider different hours for the right person :) I am on a hybrid work schedule (in office 2-3 days per week) and my husband works from home, so we will be around to support you as needed. Olive (our 5 year old bernedoodle) will want to be your best friend; so you must be ok working around dogs. We provide meals and snacks during your day. You are organized, energetic and have a good sense of humour. One of my girls has some specific needs, so either my husband or I will take care of her feeding, but ideally looking for someone who: - can entertain and nurture, - can help with baths, - can assist with meal prep and feeding 1 twin, - can do light house work (wash bottles/dishes, basic tidying of kitchen/living area, folding/put away laundry etc.), - can take 1 or both twins out for walks (when the weather cooperates), - can keep naps on track (we are on one nap), - has basic CPR & first aid training, - has a drivers license & access to vehicle or transportation (we can also provide access to a vehicle while working), - is fully vaccinated. We are hoping to have someone with us long term, so if any of this sounds good to you, please reach out! I look forward to meeting you :)

We are looking for a caregiver for our 15-year-old daughter, Danica. She is in high school and loving it. Danica was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome and subsequently is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair. Despite her condition, she is a typical teenager who loves being with her friends, watching TV, being outside and occasionally giving us a good eyeroll. She does, however, require special care. We also have two younger children, Jaxon (13) and Rylee (10), who are pretty independent. One or both parents are generally home or with the kids as well. We have a busy, active household, however Danica requires constant care and supervision. Some duties expected of the caregiver include getting Danica ready for school and on or off of the bus from school, packing lunches/backpacks, doing laundry, light cooking, and some light cleaning, all of which are generally related to the children. In the evenings, changing, bathing and getting Danica ready for bed. Safety of Danica is the most important duty as well to ensuring the routine and smooth running of a very busy household. We are seeking someone who is energetic, easy-going, and who can demonstrate great self-initiative. As our household is busy with three children and two dogs, we appreciate some flexibility and can reciprocate. No prior training or experience is necessary, all will be provided. Flexible schedule, as we have 2 caregivers for Danica and are willing to let you self schedule if needed. We are offering a premium job with benefits, extended health and dental ect. We are looking for the right person. Show us you are that person with a message of what sets you apart. We are looking for someone to replace our worker of over four years who is just finishing her education and will be moving to that field. Training will start in March with a full time date to be agreed on. You must have a DL Please send us a personalized message of what sets you apart, if you are wanting a response from us.

I am in search of a nanny to assist in caring for my one-year-old daughter and four-year-old son. My son is set to start school in September 2024, and from that point onward, I will only need the nanny's assistance with my daughter. There will breaks in between, allowing for some light household tasks, as both my husband and I work from home. Even though we intend to keep a watchful eye on our children while working, I would prefer someone adept at cooking, and who can engage with my children in such a way that they look forward to spending time with you. Prior experience is necessary. A reference and a police record check are mandatory. Please note that this is a non-smoking position. The start date is immediate.

We have a 7 month old baby boy and we’re in need of in-home care. I’ll be returning to work in March. I will be working remotely at first, then going to the office 1-2 times per week. Long-term I am searching for a nanny-share situation with another family with a child of similar age. Ideally in our home. Light housework and prep of meals occasionally. As well as putting together breakfast and lunch for my son. We’re following a Montessori-based approach to raising our son so familiarity with the program/approach is an asset. As well as any language/music/art skills you could share. We live on a quiet street but parks are a drive so a valid driver’s license is also an asset. In the future, there may be activities that we want to enrol him in that would be a drive. This may be a good position for a student as he naps well during the day and there may be time for studying. M-F, 6hrs per day. We may request additional time on occasion so my husband and I can go out, or if we have a meeting in Vancouver and will be away in to the evening.
