Our family is looking for a part time Nanny or experienced babysitter to help us starting in September on every Monday from 1:00-5:30 AND possibly Tuesday from 3-5:30 and another flexible day with the same hours (either Wednesday Thursday or Friday morning or afternoon). Our kids will be 4years old and 22 months in September. We try our best to implement gentle parenting and respectful parenting (Janet Lansbury) in our home, so familiarity with these styles or willingness to learn would be ideal. We would also ask that the right candidate provide references and have child CPR certification. Expectations include: -happy cared-for kids, and outside time each day if weather is not horrendous (they love being outside!) -light tidying up after activities (within reason - we prefer happy kiddos to a clean house!) -light meal prep on some days - would involve turning the oven on or sticking food in to cook that had already been prepared beforehand. -long term commitment (10months - one year at minimum, hopefully longer if it’s working well!) Our kids build deep bonds with their caregivers and those within their community, and we are hoping to find consistent and loving care for them. $18/hr or negotiable.
