We are in search of a caring and thoughtful nanny to join our family team and care for our two children. Our children are school aged (7 and 9) and very active in sports. Our nanny is responsible for transporting the children to and from school, summer/school holiday childcare, preparing meals, taking the children to their activities, light housekeeping including laundry and generally, keeping our family organized. As we are both working professionals, we maintain full time hours throughout the year with some flexibility with day time hours while school is in session. The position is full time with some flexibility to hours while school is in session. Our usual work hours are 7:30am to 5:30/6:00pm with many Friday’s off. Must haves: Strong communication, excellent organization skills, legally entitled to work in Canada, minimum three years experience and previous experience with children, non-smoker, good references, drivers’ license, vehicle which can be used for work and a clean criminal record check. We are a wonderful family in search of a super caring, energetic, and reliable individual for a part-time nanny position in the Burquitlam area. The position is 24 hours a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday are required, plus one weekend morning or afternoon. We have three incredible children: three-year old twins and a one-year-old. We are seeking someone who has experience in caring for multiple young children, including those with special needs. One of our children attends preschool part-time. I am also currently on maternity leave and plan to be around. The primary responsibilities will focus on childcare, providing engaging and safe indoor and outdoor activities. Light housekeeping duties will consist of meal preparation for the children and children's laundry. Should it become necessary to transport the children, a vehicle can be provided for use during work. First aid and CPR training are required. We also require a background check as well as references. Unfortunately our amazing nanny who works with us currently is moving away, so we are looking for someone to start immediately. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
