We are a wonderful young family in search of a caring, energetic, and reliable individual for a part-time nanny position in the beautiful Burquitlam area. The position requires approximately 16 hours a week, split among three weekday mornings and one weekend morning or afternoon. We can be flexible with the schedule for the right candidate, and there is potential for this position to transition into a full-time role in the future. We have three incredible children: three-year old twins and a one-year-old. We are seeking someone who has experience in caring for multiple young children, including those with special needs. Currently, I am on maternity leave and plan to be around most of the time, engaging with one or more of the children. The primary responsibilities will focus on childcare, providing engaging and safe indoor and outdoor activities. Light housekeeping duties will consist of meal preparation for the children and occasional children's laundry. Should it become necessary to transport the children, a vehicle can be provided for use during work. First aid and CPR training are required. We also require a background check as well as references. Nanny/Babysitter job in Coquitlam - Nanny/household helper/driver
My husband and I are seeking assistance with our 2 girls, ages 7 and 13, mostly with after school hours. We are both easygoing, graduate-school educated professionals with successful careers and thus need some extra help. Our girls attend Meadowridge School, which is a private school in Maple Ridge and are quite easy to care for. We are looking for someone to pick the girls up from school at 3:30 each day and then drive them to our home, which is on Burke Mountain in Coquitlam. We will provide a gas stipend. Once home, we would need help getting dinner started (I usually order the dinner kits from Fresh Prep or Hello Fresh, so all you need is right there ready to go), tidy kitchen, etc. The hours are generally 3:30-5:30 ish Monday to Friday. If you could only do 4 days a week, this would also be considered. We also love to go on date nights/days, so if you are wanting more hours and are flexible, that option is there as well. Our biggest need is for September, but if you wanted to start right away, there are 3 weeks left in the school year and we could use some sporadic help over the summer. The summer hours would be a bit less consistent, but there if you wanted. We live in a big, modern, spacious, clean home filled with books and toys and with a big backyard. We are also directly adjacent to the forest and there is a beautiful park about a 2 minute walk away, so lots to do. We do have a very friendly golden doodle who loves anybody that pays any attention to him and is a very gently soul. Walking him from time to time would also be great, but not mandatory if you are not comfortable with that. We are non-smokers and looking for the same. The job does include a bit of housework, almost exclusively the kitchen - mostly just loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping the counters/table, keeping the kitchen tidy, sweeping the floor, etc. Occasionally I might ask you to fold a load of laundry. Should you be looking for more hours, we could offer the complete housekeeping job to the successful candidate, which would be about another 10-12 hours/month and involve traditional housekeeper responsibilities. This portion of the job is optional. As there is no city bus stop close to us, and driving the girls is a requirement, your own vehicle is a must. A booster seat will be provided as the 7 year old still requires one. We also (usually) go out quite a bit, so are always looking for evening and weekend sitters if you wanted more hours. Thank you, and feel free to contact me with any additional questions.

We are looking for a Behavior Interventionist (BI) for our happy and calm 10-year-old autistic son. The position will start with 2 hours/day over the summer (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). If it is the right fit, we may increase the hours to 4 hours/day. We are seeking someone who is warm, playful, and capable of working on communication skills with our son. Pick-up and drop-off for therapies may be needed, so having a reliable car and a driver’s license is ideal. A recent criminal record check and valid first aid certification are required.
