We are a warm, friendly family in search of a nurturing and dependable part-time nanny for our adorable 1year-old son. Our ideal candidate would be able to commit to working with us for at least a year, with potential to extend the working relationship longer. As a part-time nanny with us, you would be working two days a week. The days we are looking for 2 days a week and are flexible in which 2 days you are able to do. We are looking for a 1:00pm to 6:00pm shift, totaling 10-12 hours in a week, which provides ample downtime for rest and recreation. Using your own vehicle or possessing a driver's license isn't required for this role. We view the role of a nanny as an extension of our family, and will be entrusting the individual with responsibilities that include light housekeeping, baby's bathing and dressing, and preparation of meals for him. Our family also includes a very affectionate 8 year old dog. While you don't need to walk or care for our dog specifically, being comfortable around pets is important to us, as our furry friend enjoys the company and interaction. This position is meant to be live-out, where you would enjoy quality time with our toddler in the familiar surroundings of our home. In maintaining his routine, our son will benefit greatly from a caregiver who can actively engage him, fostering his early growth and development. We're looking to welcome our new nanny into our home from the 7th of January, 2025. Make yourself at home in our home. Kids are fairly self-sufficient but also looking for guidance and interaction. They like games and crafts. I sometimes travel for work so would be booked in advance. Saturday’s kids have activity downtown so we could work out transportation plans. Some weekdays overnight may be added in later if things are going well. Kids mostly just need someone to keep them accountable and safe.
