We are a family living in Burnaby. We are looking for help to take care of our 4 month old son, while we work at home. We are looking for a nanny who can handle the following tasks: - Bottle feeding (fill bottles with formula, feeding, washing bottles) - Carrying/attending to baby when he cries - Diaper changes (after feeding) - Changing clothes when they are soiled - Bathing - Laundry (loading his clothes, bedsheets etc, into the washing machine and dryer, once every few days) - Light housework if time permits Our baby still cries quite often, so we hope to find someone experienced who can tell whether he’s hungry, sleepy, or uncomfortable, and can comfort him accordingly. The ideal person should be gentle, patient, and able to carry or pick up a baby for long periods of time (he is 8kg and growing). As he grows a bit older, we may also need help with preparing and feeding solid foods. The hours would be something like 8am to 1pm, but we are flexible (5 hours a day, in the morning/afternoon, so he is being taken care of while we work) Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) speaking ability is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for a dedicated, reliable and experienced person who can pick up our son from his school Mondays(Mum will drop him off), drive him to our home in Coquitlam and spend the remainder of the day while parents both work. Our seven year old is neurodivergent and is homeschooled, so a bit of homework and working on assignments will be required. He needs daily physical activity, swim at the pool or go for a bike ride with him. Light housework, vacuuming, tidy the kitchen, folding or doing laundry. Prepare snacks, lunch and making dinner for the family, so it's ready when we get home. I want the emphasis to be working with our son, but when he's relaxing duties can be completed. I just ask that the person not be on there phone while working, focusing on our son and duties while working.

We are looking for a loving, intelligent, kind and experienced caregiver for my 18 year old daughter with complex needs. She has a rare genetic disorder - PWS, ADHD and Autism. She is funny, loves animals, is extroverted, verbal and can dress and feed herself, but she faces daily challenges with food seeking, decision making and behaviour issues. She has a therapy dog who needs regular walks along with her sister's dog who will also need to be walked. Having knowledge of the Filipino culture and Filipino cooking as well as other basic recipes that my daughter can cook with her is an asset. The caregiver should be patient and nimble. Our daughter has some hygiene challenges and will benefit from someone who has experience and comfort level supporting her. She is also very independent and so looking for the right match who will support her as well as keep her safe. There are some occasions for overnight stay as well. We are looking for someone longer term and are only interested in serious and experienced candidates. Must be Canadian citizen or have a valid working permit. Salary is commensurate with experience.
