Looking for an amazing and energetic part-time nanny for our sweet 4.5-year-old girl, 7.5-year-old boy - and 9-month-old puppy! The position: Start date: Flexible Schedule: Monday: 9:00 - 4:00 Tuesday: 9:00 - 4:00 Wednesday: 9:00 - 4:00 (There is some flexibility with start/end times) Work term: 3 full days/week in the summer, but could start sooner doing after-school care. We have two parks within walking distance as well as a big backyard with a swing set and sandbox so there are plenty of options for outdoor play. We have a playroom filled with toys, puzzles, and games, as well as a craft centre stocked with arts and craft supplies. When there’s a particular craft or activity our nanny would like to do with our kids, we are happy to purchase supplies or reimburse for anything that is bought. Our ideal candidate: Above all else, we are searching for a nanny who shares our values of honesty, integrity, and kindness. Open communication is critical to us and we need someone who feels the same! In addition, we are looking for someone who is energetic, loves having fun, and is eager to dive in and play with our kids – be it sitting on the floor playing Barbies or outside digging in the sandbox. This role involves looking after my 5-year-old son, who, though initially a bit shy, quickly warms up and becomes quite a playful little character. He loves Lego, cars, numbers, and is always wondering how things work. Your primary duties would include picking up my son from kindergarten on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons using your personal car. After pick-up, I would also need your help to take care of him in our home for a few hours into the evening. We're based in North Burnaby (close to Hastings & Boundary) We're a conservative catholic family and the kids are strictly screen free. No phones around the kids. Our son has allergies to nuts and cats. So please be aware of exposure. We also have a dog, she's super friendly and quiet.
