I am in search of a diligent and dependable part-time housekeeper with cooking abilities for my home located near U Vic in Victoria. The position would involve a work schedule wrapping around the mid-day to evening period, specifically from 3 PM to 8 PM, across five days of the week. The starting date is immediate with the potential to transition to a more permanent role in the future. Your primary responsibilities would include a comprehensive weekly deep clean of the house including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, dusting, and surface cleaning. On a daily basis, expect tasks such as general cleanup, organizing, managing laundry business, and preparing and cooking dinner. Post-dinner kitchen cleanup and cleaning the dishes will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you should be open to maintenance work around the house including occasional light yard work, taking the dogs out for a walk, and taking care of indoor and outdoor plants. The job may also require you rotating seasonal clothing in closets, maintaining pantry supplies by routinely removing out of date and spoiled items, and making beds, changing linen. Additionally, the cleaning tasks would extend to the exterior of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The ideal candidate would be someone trustworthy and reliable with prior experience in maintaining a large household.
