We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper for a full-time, live-out position, who will perform cleaning duties to maintain our private household. This job is detail-oriented, so as a Housekeeper, you are encouraged to be attentive to detail and self-starter. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating a clean and welcoming environment in our home and enjoy working in a team environment. Salary is between $26 -$28 per hour, depending on work experience. Shift hours: 10:30am – 7:00pm with days of the week to be determined (weekends included) Responsibilities Include: • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors; • Scrubbing sinks, bathtubs, showers and toilets in bathrooms • Dust and polish furniture and room accessories, • Vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, • Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment, • Change bedroom & bathroom linens, and wash, • Laundry; washing, drying, ironing, folding. • Clean glass surfaces, mirrors and counters, as needed • Keep all public spaces neat and tidy • Report repairs and replacements needed, when encountered. • Collect and dispose of trash from bins and containers. • Occasionally reheating prepared meals. • General kitchen cleaning, cleaning appliances. • Administer evening turn-down. • Other duties as requested. Qualifications: • Previous housekeeping experience required. • Able to communicate effectively in English (verbally and written) • Ability to work both on a team, independently and efficiently. • Knowledge of and experienced, in the use and care of cleaning products and equipment. • Must be organized and pay attention to detail. • Comfortable with large friendly dogs. • Able to take direction, feedback, learn procedures and make suggestions to improve. • Capable of bending, kneeling and lifting. • Must Be Fully Covid 19 Vaccinated • Must obtain a clean criminal record check. • Valid class 5 drivers license helpful with use of a reliable vehicle.
