I am looking to provide Part-time live out childcare for a lovely family in Victoria, British Columbia. I was born and raised in the city of Victoria and have no plans of leaving this beautiful place! I have been working with children for 6 years. My experience started when I applied to coach gymnastics in early 2019, I coached children from an age range of 18 months to 15 years and quickly found my love of working with young children aged 18 months to 5 years. From that experience I transitioned into the career of childcare working as an educator at an in home daycare with an age range of 12 months to 5 years. Eventually I wanted to branch out and get my early childhood education certificate, I found a welcoming company in 2021 that hired and helped me towards my goal! I’ve had the opportunity to work in every program they have including multiple baby and toddler programs and multiple preschools. I have been able to take some courses including guiding and caring as well as health safety and nutrition, which lead me to receive a certificate as an ECEA. On top of my ECEA certification I am also certified in Emergency Child Care First Aid CPR/AED level B. Currently I am working as a 1 : 1 support worker at this company in one of their preschools Monday’s, Thursday’s, and Friday’s! My time with this company has been filled with lots of fun and forever memories, I have met many amazing children and families which have then lead me to lots of opportunities for babysitting and nannying. Through these connections I was able to provide care as a part-time nanny for two children in the mornings ages 5 and 3 from January 2023 to June 2024. From July of 2024 until September of 2025 I have had the honourable opportunity to provide childcare/pet care for two children ages 4 and 7, as well as an amazing 9 year old doodle full-time. My jobs included getting the kids ready, packed, and taking the kids to and from school and spring/summer camps. While the kids are in school/camp I have helped around the house doing laundry, meal/lunches prep, dishes and dog walking etc. I love planning fun activities and creative art projects, getting a little messy is always fun! I have experienced putting together daily routines including circle times, snack times, and nap times, as well as outside play and nature walks! I enjoy watching the little ones test their own skills and grow / develop as individuals. My Child care is always lead with empathy for the children. I understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for your family's needs, and I am confident that my skills and experience make me an ideal candidate. My starting hourly rate is $25.00 but I am open to negotiation depending on your families wants and needs. If you're searching for a dedicated and reliable nanny who truly loves what she does, feel free to message me to discuss how I can be of help to your family. I can't wait to meet you and your little ones! Experience in Daycare, Preschool, and Nannying!

I am a compassionate and experienced caregiver with a professional background in nursing outside of Canada. For four years, I worked in a hospital nursery, providing hands-on care for newborns and supporting new mothers during the early postpartum period. Although I am not a registered nurse in Canada, I bring valuable knowledge, sensitivity, and practical skills from my years of experience in maternal and infant care. In addition to baby care (feeding, bathing, diapering, soothing), I offer assistance to mothers recovering from childbirth—whether through light housekeeping, meal preparation, or simply being a calm, supportive presence during this important time. I also have experience supporting families with multiple children or special needs. Currently based in Saanich and fully mobile, I provide flexible, respectful in-home care tailored to each family’s unique needs. My clients appreciate my reliability, warmth, and professionalism.

I am 19 years old, from Guelph, ON. I moved to Victoria, BC 2 years ago to go to UVIC for Biochemistry. I've always gravitated towards the west coast because of its natural beauty. Im extremely passionate about the environment and grew up with nature being a central focus of my childhood. My tree-planter parents took me on hikes, camping trips and sent me to sleep away camp. Where I eventually worked and led canoe trips myself. When I was six years old I started playing basketball, and I played for 11 years - growing my love for sports and being active. I love cooking and trying to bake ;). I love arts and crafts, painting, playing the guitar and I recently got obsessed with crocheting. I take pride in being responsible and dependable. I genuinely love creating environments that encourage kids to be curious and grow. I have lots of childcare relevant certificates such as: - Standard First Aid - Emergency First Aid training with CPR-C - National Lifeguarding Pool As well as my Food Handlers and Food Allergen Training. Applicable if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies, Im happy to plan and prep meals. After working as a camp counsellor, I returned as the Dietary Coordinator where I prepped halal, vegan, celiac options etc. I was an overnight camp counsellor at YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth. As a counsellor, I supervised 8 campers throughout the day and slept in the cabin with them at night. We rotated counselling different age groups from 6-14 and boys/girls/gender inclusive cabins. My main responsibilities were: - supporting their mental and physical health through daily check ins - caring for their safety (first aid /lifeguarding) - executing daily routines (hygiene, daily meds, fresh outfits) I got to organize fun activities tailored to the groups age and interests. Anything from personalized arts and crafts to archery and field games . I also got to teach outdoor skills like kayaking, canoeing, and portaging. My favourite part was watching campers build long lasting friendships. Additionally, In high school I worked as a babysitter for a 11 year old boy. I picked him up and walked him home from school. My job was to help him do his afterschool routine. We would unpack his lunch and have a snack. I would assist him with homework, and then we always played basketball games in the driveway. Sometimes the parents were busy later in the evening so I would make dinner, clean the kitchen, and helped with his bedtime routine (bathing, teeth, read to him etc.). Finally, in high school I was a Volunteer assistant basketball coach for a U11 girls team of 12. I assisted in practice planning and skill development drills, and mentored young female athletes. I got to foster important life skills like communication, teamwork and positivity through the game. Most importantly inspiring girls to take on new challenges and encouraging their passion for sports. Enrolled at UVic for Biochemistry but currently on a semester off.

In my neighborhood, there have always been a lot of little kids being born, and since I was little, I have always been the mom of the friend group, always making sure that everyone was okay. I love working with kids, taking care of kids, and I have taken care of my neighbors' kids. I go to Royal Bay Secondary School and I am about to graduate early. I am in grade 12 and I am 17 years old. I am a caring and dedicated person who does not flake out, especially when it comes to children, because I know how hard it is to find good, dependable childcare. I am a good cook, excellent at cleaning, keeping things tidy, and organized. I am skilled at de-escalating children and their sibling rivalry, as I had to do that a lot at the daycare where I worked. I did 40 hours of volunteer work at a daycare in Royal Bay. I absolutely loved working there and hope that one day I will be able to become a babysitter or work at a daycare.

I am a British nanny and babysitter who moved to the island in 2023 with my husband and three children, aged 15, 11 and 5. I have been working in childcare since 2013 and started my own business, Jane's Sitting Service in 2015 and again in 2023 when we emigrated to the island. I have lots of experience with children of all ages, including working with many neurodivergent families, from autism and adhd to global development delay and sensory processing disorder. My own children are also neurodivergent, so the experience continues within my home too. As a caregiver, I absolutely love what I do... the best thing about working with children is that every day is different and you get to see the world through their eyes, which is pretty unique, sometimes a little crazy but always lots of fun. As a nanny, I am very outgoing, have lots of energy and I love to be out and about exploring. I am kind, caring, trustworthy and patient. I try to adjust to each families individual needs and understand that all children are unique and as a care giver, you need to be adaptable. I also focus on providing a safe and nurturing environment with my business moto of 'play, learn and grow together'. As a mum of three, I understand how busy and overwhelming life can feel, juggling childcare, a job, a house and everything else that goes with the day to day tasks of being a parent, and I would love to be that extra pair of hands to support that routine and make some of those day to tasks more manageable. If your family is in need of a nanny, babysitter or mothers help, and you feel i may be a good fit for you, please do reach out or add yourself to my page and we can chat further. I have availability Monday to Friday and try to be as flexible as possible, with my ideal hours being 9-2 (although i am happy to offer longer hours if I am able to collect my daughter from school and bring her to work with me, but I appreciate this isn't for everyone). I am looking for a minimum of 10 hours per week, but have availability for up to 25+ hours as a nanny/nanny share role or mothers help. I am also ideally looking for work in the Langford, Colwood, Royal bay area but have my own vehicle so am happy to commute for the right family. I am first aid and CPR trained (renewal 31st March 2027) and am willing to get a criminal record check should this be required. I have a level 3 qualification from the the uk in working with children and young people, which is similar to an ECE here and past experience of working in a daycare setting, before starting my own business. I also volunteer as a soccer coach at Gorge, working with the under 6s and can provide lots of references. Worked as a nanny and babysitter for the last 10 plus years
