You would be working with a 33-year-old quadriplegic for home care help and basic care (hygiene, basic care, daily assistance) to help him get ready in the morning. Availability required: weekdays 1 hours in the morning for Tuesday & Thursday 2 hours in the morning for Monday, Wednesday & Friday weekends 2 hours on Saturday and 1 hour on Sunday These times can be shared with a team of 3 to 6 people, depending on the availability of each team member. A shared online calendar is set up to do that. No skills or courses are required; training is provided and paid for. Just enthusiasm, alertness and reliability! Seeking a part-time, compassionate caregiver for my good-natured 80-year-old mother with medium-stage dementia affecting her short-term memory and with mild mobility issues. The role requires about 15-30 hours a week on Saturday afternoons, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, sometimes Saturday nights (days of week may vary). The ideal person has or is willing to gain dementia care experience, can oversee the home environment, and possibly assist with mobility exercises. A driver's license and car are not necessary.
