Caring for animals has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals—they’re drawn to me just as much as I’m drawn to them. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents, I’ve always believed in giving animals the love and attention they deserve. At 9, I started rehabilitating squirrels and chipmunks, and by 13, I rescued a homeless cat, providing a safe space for her to give birth and raise her kittens before finding them loving homes. I also worked with a humane society to manage stray cat populations, ensuring they were spayed, neutered, and adopted.
During COVID, I volunteered with wildlife organizations, raising baby raccoons to be released into the wild. As a pet parent to two chihuahuas, a kitten, and three rats, I understand the importance of finding someone who truly cares for your pets.
While you might not need a raccoon or squirrel cared for, my experience shows that I can connect with and provide the right care for any animal. I hope this gives you a sense of my deep love for animals!
When you leave your pet in my care, they’ll receive the same compassion, care, and love I give to my own. Whether it’s dog walking, pet sitting, or special care for small animals, I’m here to help. You can trust your pet will be in the best hands, as I’ll do just about anything for animals.
CAT EXPERIENCE
My experience with cats has been shaped by years of hands-on care and a deep, lifelong love for animals. I grew up with two childhood cats and, in grade 6, I rescued another cat that my dad bonded with so much that she became a permanent part of our family. At 13, I rescued a pregnant homeless cat, providing her a safe space to give birth and raise her kittens with the help of my dad until they were successfully rehomed. During that time, I also worked with a humane society to manage a growing stray cat population, ensuring the cats were spayed, neutered, and placed in loving homes. In addition, I fostered three kittens from the same stray population after their mother was tragically hit by a car, caring for them until they found their forever homes.
Recently, I rescued a 3-week-old kitten named Fiona from a homeless man, convincing him to let me care for her. We initially planned to find her a new home, but she quickly became part of our family. Fiona, who thinks she’s one of our dogs, has fit right in with our two small chihuahuas. We’d love to welcome cats into our home who get along with small dogs so Fiona can be around her own kind and learn a thing or two!
I understand how much your cat means to you and believe in creating a compassionate, safe environment for them. From shy and reserved to playful and adventurous, I tailor my care to your cat’s personality to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you're away. You can trust that your pet will receive the same level of care and attention I give to my own.
DOG EXPERIENCE
Growing up, my family had a beloved beagle named Sandy, who was with us from when I was four until I was 19. Caring for Sandy instilled in me a deep appreciation for the joys and responsibilities of dog ownership.
Currently, I have two chihuahuas: Phoebe, a mix of chihuahua and toy fox terrier, and Frankie, a purebred chihuahua. In London, I frequently helped care for my mom's dogs, Ginger and Lalo, taking them for walks and spending quality time with them, especially during busy harvesting periods when my mom, a vegetable farmer, needed extra help.
With years of experience, from childhood pets to my current companions, I’m well-versed in understanding and meeting the needs of dogs, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.
