I am currently in need of a compassionate, reliable, and patient Elderly Caregiver to assist with the care of my 95-year-old mother, who is blind yet remains mobile and does not require diapers. i would like for someone to assist her in daily walks. The scheduled work hours would be primarily on Mondays and Fridays, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, amounting to less than 20 hours per work week for starters. However, there is the possibility of scaling up to 30 hours per week. Apart from general companionship, your primary responsibilities for this Live-Out position will include Bathing Assistance, Dressing & Grooming aid, as well as Toileting Assistance when the need arises. The role also requires Meal Reheating / Preparation, some light Housekeeping tasks like vacuuming and hand washing dishes on occasion. Playing an active role in planning visits, outings & trips to visit neighbors, friends, or family is also anticipated. Four to five times a year, it would be ideal if you're able to stay overnight for a few days, and once a year, a more extended stay of 2-3 weeks would be necessary. A driver's license is not a requirement for this position, as the use of an automobile is not applicable here. This Elderly Caregiver position demands an immediate start.

I am currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced senior/health caregiver to assist two elderly ladies who require help with their daily needs. Recently, one of these ladies contracted Covid and, due to her weakened state, requires more intensive care and assistance, especially with mobility and personal hygiene tasks. As their caregiver, you would be expected to perform duties that extend from meal planning and preparation to housekeeping chores. Grooming and dressing assistance, patient positioning, and heavy patient lifting & transfer will also form part of your daily responsibilities. Personal care tasks such as bathing are particularly required since one of the ladies currently lacks enough strength for self-care. The position is part-time with a work schedule spanning Monday to Friday, with morning till mid-day shifts. As such, the suitable candidate should be willing to work between 20-30 hours per week. This is a Live-Out position requiring physical presence during specified hours; hence remote candidates cannot be accommodated. While a driver's license and automobile usage are not necessary requirements for the role, experience in tending to the bedridden is highly desired. My Mom is 88, speaks Italian /French, has an outgoing personality, engages in activities, very personable, great story teller. Enjoys walk in the park, her garden flowers, art, aquarelle, word searches, reading. She is very charming, sweet and loving, extremely neat, clean and organized despite her dementia. She is loved by her caregivers !! Ideal candidate is trustworthy, speaks French, Italian is a great plus, has 5 years experience with dementia/Alzheimer’s and able to assume the following primary responsibilities : stimulation activities, companionship, light exercises as outlined by her physiotherapist, outdoor walks, prepare bi-weekly grocery order and putting groceries away when delivered, meal preparation, assist with personal care, and other activities as needed. Light housekeeping, Housekeeping is managed by a cleaning company. We have a structured daily routine that works very well and keeps things simple. Must be Comfortable working in a setting with camera surveillance.
