My name is Abigale, a devoted mother and a versatile individual with over 10 years of experience in varied roles. My skills stretch from being a proficient typist and a seasoned customer service expert to being a skilled caregiver. I hail from Ardrossan, and while I have had the pleasure of working in an office setting, I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get the job done.
My life experiences have broadened my horizons, not only as a professional but as a humanitarian as well. My love for auto mechanics and drag racing attests to my adaptability and hands-on nature. A graduate from the University of the West Indies, I am well-trained in various professional and personal capacities, with certifications ranging from Executive Assistance to Geriatric Home Care.
Being a single mother, I understand the importance of reliability and punctuality, especially when it pertains to caregiving and driving duties. I am available full-time and am comfortable in both Live-in and Live-out arrangements. My driving record is impeccable; I have not had an accident in over three years, and my license remains untouched by suspensions or revocations.
I offer my services for a range of driving roles, including being a Driving Nanny, Family driver, School transporter, special needs driver, senior driver, and on-demand driver. Furthermore, I am prepared to perform various duties such as timely pick-ups and drop-offs, ensuring safe trips, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, running errands per employer's request, and keeping a record of all vehicle-related expenses.
Currently, I am ready for immediate employment and can travel or relocate according to the job requirements. I prefer using the employer's vehicle at work and, rest assured, non-smoker that I am, I uphold a clean and healthy environment within my workspace. You can trust an individual like me who thrives in multitasking and displays the utmost attention to detail, ensuring the best care and commute for your family. Finally, I am proud of my Trinidadian heritage and am fluent in English, ready to serve with all my capabilities.
My very first driving job started within my household ten (10) years ago, with transporting my Elder daughter to and from school Monday through Friday and to extracurricular activities on weekends, in addition to taking my grandmother to clinic appointments.
Being a substitute driver on a professional level started three (3) ago when my employer's courier at my current job was absent for some time due to COVID, and my bosses urgently needed someone who was able to drive both automatic and manual class vehicles to assist with taking them to and from meetings, dropping off mails, etc. From then, I became the company's driver whenever the courier was absent or on leave; and that was and still is what I do, in addition to fulfilling my job as an Accounts Clerk in the company.
In 2022, one of my bosses (the Treasurer) hired me as a part-time driver for his company. I shuttled persons from Government offices between 7 pm and 10 pm Monday through Friday using my personal vehicle. That became my side job to this day.
I am the holder of a driver's license that is both class 3 (light vehicles) and class 4 (Trucks) and am currently pursuing my motorcycle license as a hobby.
