Hi! My name is Lea! I am 26 years old, originally from the Philippines and currently living here in Langley Township. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in secondary education but I have teaching experience in handling preschool students as well as students with special needs. I also have experience in teaching English to Korean grade-schoolers and Italian professionals. During my service as a preschool teacher, I didn't have any classroom assistant to assist me with the kids' needs so I am solely responsible in changing their clothes, feeding them, assisting in their needs, on top of preparing the lessons for class. I am currently finishing my third year as an education student in the elementary curriculum at TWU, and will be entering 4th this upcoming fall- I am working on 2 minors in English and Psychology (Special Ed). My name is Saim and I am 19 years old. I live in Surrey Surrey and I am pursuing my education at UBC in the faculty of science. I am majoring in neuroscience and working towards entering medical school and becoming a doctor. I have a passion for children’s education, especially those who are special needs or on the autism spectrum. I have developed an interest for autism spectrum disorder and am actively participating in UBC clubs related to this field.
