We have a living room, large kitchen, 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom area to clean. Cleaning and dusting and washing the hardwood floors will need attending. We have a small 1 year old dog who is friendly. We will be at home, but probably down stairs while the house is being cleaned. Mornings are preferred to afternoons. We would like the same or only two regular cleaners to do our cleaning. We can provide coffee or tea or soda if wanted. We are a senior couple. The wife had surgery on her elbow and can not lift anything for now. The husband is busy cooking and dog walking. We will really appreciate the help of a good, honest, kind and happy cleaner. We are open to suggestions. Thank you.

I am looking for a Monday through Friday responsible housekeeper to assist the family with household chores outside of general cleaning. We live in a single detached house in Colwood. This role will be a minimum of 2-3 hours each day and below are some of the key tasks: - Cleaning up kitchen and dinning room after breakfast daily - Loading and unloading dishwasher daily - Washing, folding & putting away laundry as needed - Changing bedding and hand towels throughout the house periodically - Emptying diaper pail as needed - Checking and replenishing supplies throughout the house (e.g. refilling hand soap, paper towels and etc.) - Consolidate garbage and recycling for pickup every other week - Pickup preordered groceries, cleaning and putting them away - General tidying around the house - Meal prepping for kids The right candidate will need to be fully vaccinated, required to wear a mask while working in the house and dog friendly. This person should have a high sense of personal hygiene and continue to exercise COVID safety protocols in and outside of the house as we have young children at home. This role requires someone who is attentive with a high attention to detail and operate with minimal supervision and guidance outside of initial training as we need someone to take care of us while we work. Our house cleaner is moving on so we need a skilled, earnest, and honourable replacement we can depend on every second week .You can choose which regular afternoon of the week to come, except Friday. We have a large house with three lovely children in James Bay. Our home is conveniently located and walking distance from downtown. We also operate a small vacation rental guest suite from our house. The position is part-time, live-out and primarily limited to weekdays. We offer flexibility in the number of hours worked per week (between 8 and 20) but need consistency once we have established a schedule. Our preferred schedule is three days per week (ex: Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for approximately 5 hours per day (ex: 10am-3pm). However, we have flexibility with this and are open to other scheduling arrangements for the successful applicant. Please note we may require occasional weekends according to our needs. The start date for the position is immediate. Duties of the position include but are not limited to: Conferring with household members to determine their housekeeping needs Performing cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping and vacuuming. Cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, livings rooms Laundry - stain treating, washing, drying and ironing. Changing bedding as required Grocery shopping as needed Preparation of meals.
