Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining my two-bedroom condo, ensuring every nook and corner exudes cleanliness. Your key responsibilities will be a comprehensive cleaning of the entire apartment, encompassing walls, baseboards, and floors. The apartment consists of a compact living room, a small dining area, a kitchen, a very small laundry room, two bedrooms, and a washroom. If time permits, I would appreciate it if you could also attend to the open deck. Your tasks will be varied, covering different aspects of housekeeping, including but not limited to, cleaning kitchen appliances (inside and outside of the fridge, oven, dishwasher, and pantry), washing dishes, wiping down countertops, and cleaning floors. The Ambassador of Italy to Canada is seeking to recruit a Housekeeper for his Residence in Gatineau, Québec. This is a full-time position, subject to a probationary period, and will start as soon as possible. The suitable candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and carry out tasks such as laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing of clothes, and other household items. In addition to maintaining general cleanliness of the entire house using techniques like mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, the housekeeper would also be charged with cleaning specific areas of the house such as the inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, and floors. You'd also be required to clean the immediate exterior areas of the residence. Pet care is included in the duties; feeding our family dog will be part of your routine. Additional responsibilities also include rotating seasonal clothing in closets, maintaining the pantry, and routinely clearing out of date and spoiled items. You would also be charged with bed making, linen changing. The use of a private car for errands such as grocery shopping would be needed.
