I need help organizing closets and contents of apartment. Placing unused clothes in bins and sorting out older items to make space. One closet can be organized and separated into clothing types while organizing what will go. I am not planning to do this immediately as I need to organize an area to organize everything. When I make a work area available I will contact a someone who will be able to travel here easily.

We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time house manager to help keep our home clean, organized, and running smoothly. Occasional pet care is required, and there may be opportunities for optional babysitting or childcare at an hourly rate outside regular hours. POSITION DETAILS Role: Part-time House Manager Schedule: Weekdays only (5 days/week), 3.5 hours per day — either mornings or afternoons (flexible; we will agree on a regular schedule) Location: Alta Vista neighbourhood, Ottawa Start date: Flexible Employment type: Part-time, hourly Compensation: $22–$28 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities. Optional childcare or babysitting outside regular hours available at an additional hourly rate (to be agreed upon). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Daily tidying and upkeep of the home (kitchen, living areas, bathrooms, bedrooms) - Laundry: washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and linens - Maintain and follow a routine cleaning schedule for deeper tasks (e.g., fridge/oven cleaning, decluttering, seasonal tasks) - Organizing and resetting spaces to keep the home orderly throughout the week - Occasional grocery pickup/organizing - Occasional pet care for our goldendoodle (feeding, letting out, short dog walks as needed) - Communicate proactively about supplies needed, tasks completed, and any issues that arise - Occasional childcare or babysitting outside scheduled hours is a plus (paid separately) QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS - Proven experience managing household duties for busy families (references required) - Police reference check (required) — must be provided before starting - Strong organization, time-management, and attention to detail - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Comfortable around pets; able to handle light pet care duties including short walks - Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy; professional and respectful demeanor - Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is an asset but not required

I’m looking for someone who is coachable - I’d like to show you how I normally clean and organize so you know how to do it or improve upon it. Looking for someone who can get to my house by themselves, you can come with your own equipment or use mine, either way is fine. We are looking for a house keeper to help us keep on top of odd jobs, primarily laundry, tidying and organizing. We aren't entirely sure how much time we need (maybe 4 hours every other week to start?) but we are happy to work the right person to find the hours and cadence that fits their schedule. We already have someone who comes to clean every other week, so scrubbing is unlikely to be a regular part of the role, but we may occasionally ask for help cleaning a specific space. Tasks would include general cleaning such as dusting, swiffer-ing, tidying and cleaning kitchen and dishwasher loading and emptying, sometimes preparation for meals, very occasionally laundry, and some other maintenance tasks like changing sheets or sometimes cleaning appliances or certain tasks sometimes that require bending. No driving is required. Ideal for someone seeking part-time work or a student. This live-out job requires only few hours per week, will not entail anything laborious, not all tasks required all the time, absolutely negotiable and flexible and as agreeable to both parties and primarily on two weekday evenings, some weeks only once. The schedule is also flexible and the job is home-based.
