My name is Holly, I’m a 21 years old and live in central Edmonton. I currently nanny for a family 3 days during the week, but am looking to fill those other two days during my week (Wednesday and Monday) or else fill the weekday evenings. I also work as a disability worker in group homes, but my hours in this job are now only every second weekend. I have a littler sister who is now nine years old, I watched her quite a bit until she was 5. I babysat on and off through the years, but in the last 3 years my experience working with kids has been based on my nanny job currently, and a few months I spent working as an aid in my agencies school for children with disabilities.
I am fine with light driving, cleaning, pet care ect. But I love being able to spend the majority of my time interacting with the children I work with and creating a strong bond (disregard bottom paragraph, it was an old bio that it wouldn’t let me delete)
My name is Holly, I live in central Edmonton and would like to ideally find a family that is close to that area. I work as a residential aid in group homes for people with mental disabilities. I love my job, but I work for an agency in Red Deer (where I previously lived) and with gas prices going up I am only able to afford to keep my every other weekend 48hr shift. I love working with kids, particularly toddlers. Im a very gentle spirited and easy going person, and I find that I shine the most in caregiving jobs. My experience with nanny jobs is limited, as the last 2 1/2 years I’ve only been working for my agency. But the babysitting job I worked prior to my current job I really enjoyed and found I bonded quickly with the kids. In my agency I started as a aid in their school for children with mental disabilities. I worked in the school for a few months before I gradually started working more exclusively in the homes. I absolutely loved working with the children at the school, it was extremely rewarding. But I enjoy a less structured, home type of atmosphere. My schedule currently is very flexible as the courses I am upgrading at Nait are continuing online. The only days I am not available are Sat/Sun every other weekend. I’m looking for more of a part time job, but am open to working full time hours at least until the end of the summer. If required for a family that is a good fit I am definitely willing to get a background check, but I wouldn’t have a recent one handy to bring to an interview.
