My name is Doris, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you as a seasoned nanny with many years of experience, when counting caring for my siblings and my own family. I currently reside in the Capilano area in Edmonton and my services extend to babysitting, mother's helper, eldercare, and special needs children care, among others. Still, my preferred type of employment is Part-Time Nanny/Housekeeper and I prefer a live-out arrangement. I have had the good fortune to work with many families, caring for newborns all the way to children aged over 10 years. Especially skilled and experienced in tasks such as cooking, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal prepping for kids, transporting children, children's laundry, and even ironing. And if required, I have the capacity to care for up to three or more children at a time. I hold a Bachelor's Degree and I am both CPR and First Aid Trained. I'm also adept in caring for twins and can expertly help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and even pet sitting. Owning and operating a reliable vehicle, I can assist in any transport needs in various capacities including as a nanny driver. I pride myself on being reliable and caring, with a particular love for working with people of all ages. I am versatile, understanding that families may require a night out, a helping hand, or an overnight sitter. I offer a competitive and negotiable hourly rate. In case of overnight care, my rate is reduced when children are asleep. My commitment to my work extends to my capacity to speak fluently in English, Spanish, and French. I am available throughout the week both during the day and night. For convenience and to save time, I'm more than happy to arrange an initial meeting via a video call if that suits you. I have my police check with the vulnerable sector ready and being Canadian, I have no travel restrictions. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to the opportunity to support your family, meet, and care for your little ones! In my retirement, I am a caregiver and housekeeper. I have extensive previous experience, including as a live-in nanny, a mother’s helper, for eldercare, for special needs and twins, meal preparation, light housekeeping or cleaning and petsitting.

I am a resourceful, caring, energetic, and trustworthy caregiver — young at heart with a deep love for children. I am seeking a full-time, live-in, long-term nanny position with a warm, loving family and am fully open to relocation. My childcare experience spans many years, beginning with babysitting in high school and continuing through raising my own three children, now aged 21, 24, and 26. This lifelong experience has shaped me into a calm, capable, and nurturing caregiver dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children of all ages. I am certified in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C. I offer a well-rounded range of support, including: • Loving full-time childcare • Meal preparation and baking • Educational activities and tutoring (primary & middle school) • Light housekeeping and household organization • Pet care My tender heart and commitment to caregiving were deeply strengthened while raising a child with disabilities, including ASD and ADHD. This experience has developed my patience, emotional awareness, resilience, and ability to remain calm and steady in all situations. I approach children with empathy, understanding, and respect for their individuality. I believe in open communication and teamwork with parents as the foundation of a strong household. I guide children with a calm, gentle approach that validates their feelings, thoughts, and opinions, while providing consistent structure and positive guidance. I strive to be a nurturing, dependable role model who supports both emotional and developmental growth. I am dedicated to helping children reach milestones, build confidence, and explore their interests in a safe, engaging, and joyful environment. I am flexible with scheduling, comfortable traveling with families, and hold a valid passport. In my personal life, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, walking, and spending time in nature. I find joy in life’s simple moments — sunrises, sunsets, stargazing, and making snow angels — and love sharing that sense of wonder with children. I would be honored to become a trusted and loving caregiver for your family. I welcome the opportunity to connect and explore how I can best support your children and household. Twenty one years with a child who has intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have taken many workshops and courses to learn how to interact and work with children who have intellectual and development disabilities.
