Hi there! I am a third year university student in Victoria who is majoring in Philosophy. In my free time, I love to go on beach walks, write poetry, and read a good book. I have extensive experience with tutoring individuals of all ages. I enjoy guiding people through their learning journeys! I am pretty adaptable in terms of learning styles as well. Please contact me if you or your child needs help with writing/editing essays, improving literacy skills, and so on. When it comes to the Humanities and Social-Science oriented subjects (English, Social Studies, Criminology, Psych etc.), my scope is quite wide in terms of what I am able to help with. Not to mention, I love to make the learning process a fun one! Thanks so much for considering me, Tuesday I have worked as a tutor for kids from K-Grade 12 in mainly humanities subjects (as well as some people in their early college years) for around a year and a half at a facility called Grow and Discover Ed.. Apart from that, I've volunteered doing peer tutoring/helping with editing essays throughout my post-secondary career and in high school. For humanities subjects, I can tutor among various age groups (have helped kindergarteners as well as first year college students). For maths, I typically help younger kids (Grade 2/3 and under).

Hi, My name is Courage. I'm Nigerian. I'm a student but I love to teach too. I love solving problems and I love music too. In my free time I do a little bit of music production which is one of the ways I express and relax myself. I love teaching. I have taught in various places and I've taught various subjects but maths is my main focus for now. I used to have lessons with a group of children after school, where i usually went over assignments and new topics with them. I'm a student myself but I believe that the best way to learn is to teach.

My parents are from Sri Lanka but I was born in Lavale, Quebec and then moved to Scarborough when I was 7. I've been in Ottawa for the past few years for university but my family still resides in Scarborough. Along with my parents, I have one younger brother who is 20. My cousins have lived in front of our house since we moved to Scarborough so we grew up alongside them since childhood. My hobbies growing up were doing hurdles for track and field, painting landscapes and collecting vinyl records. I've always been passionate about my hobbies and interests in school, primarily healthcare. I'm hoping to finish this degree and apply for medical school shortly. I'm currently in my fourth year pursuing Health Sciences at Carleton University. I've been tutoring my younger cousins with their school homework for as long as I can remember. I've always been interested in healthcare, which in turn has evolved my passions surrounding tutoring. In addition to academic tutoring, I enjoy painting in my leisure and I teach privately on occasion.

I come from Punjab, a culturally vibrant region in northern India, where I spent a large part of my career teaching in a local school. Before moving to Canada, these institutions were my second home, where I learned and taught. The life lessons I carry with me, however, are from my upbringing in a traditional Sikh family. Alongside my professional life, I have a deep passion for personal development and mental relaxation, typically through books and music. In my free time, I enjoy getting lost in books that explore diverse cultures and experiences. Music, with all its melodies and rhythms, provides a sense of calm and rejuvenation, from traditional Punjabi beats to pop songs. Hence, my journey from Punjab, India, to Canada encompasses shifts in experiences and passions that define me. I worked as a teacher in India before coming to canada
