I am an all rounder, very practical and creative person. I have broad experience within many areas, including house managing for a family of 4 and currently work as a private cook for a small family 2 days a week in North Van.
I am a wife and mother of two teenagers and mom to Koko - our little Shiba Inu, living in North Vancouver. We reloacted here 2 years ago from London where my culinary experince was working for private caterers in London - United Kingdom. I personally assisted a private chef with her catering company and many aspects of running the business for 5 years whislt at university. My position included ordering produce, managing clients and event loactions to food prep; cooking; creating beautiful plates and serving.
I have the experience of raising a family whilst working part time and juggling motherhood and the daily household duties, whilst cooking healthy meals and packing daily lunches. I have worked within the creative design industry part time within my culinary and personal assistant career. I am working on building my art here in Vancouver and hoping to exhibit my first ever fine art collection this year.
After I met my husband and raised a family in London. We decided during the pandemic that we wanted to give our two teenagers a more adventurous, outdoor lifestyle and managed to get oursleves to Vancouver!
My most recent style of cooking is focused on healthy family based meals. I like to utilise plant based dishes combined with healthy protiens. I love to mix traditional dishes with new inventive creative additions.

I am a highly creative individual that pays high attention to detail. My life and work experience has given me the opportunity to work in many areas with people from many different backgrounds.
My catering and culinary journey began many years ago, starting as a waitress in Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to the UK to study Fashion Design and continued to work in restaurants and hotels to support myself. After working in various restaurants from the first ever Pho in 2006 - now a huge chain in London to Momo's and Sketch, I started working as a PA to a private chef, assisting her in all areas of running her business including food and cooking prep to serving and hosting events.
Since then, I have worked as a Private Chef in homes and assisted with managing a Country Kitchen style cafe in Cambridge - United Kingdom.
I enjoy creative cooking just as much as making simple Italian pasta's to traditional dishes. I can whip up a meal when it seems the fridge is empty or create a menu for a dinner party.
I’ve cooked & worked within the food industry for over 15 years now, as well as cooking for my family and friends. I’m fun, friendly and relaxed in my work place and love socializing and connecting with people. I am always happy to take on whatever needs to be done, helpful and assisting with whatever is required.
