We are a busy family with three young children looking for a reliable, organized, and warm family chef to support the rhythm of our household. This role is about creating a thoughtful, stress-reducing routine that helps our family function smoothly week to week.
What You’ll Do
- Create a weekly or bi-weekly family-friendly meal plan, taking into account preferences, and kid-friendly options
- Shop for groceries, manage ingredients, and keep the kitchen stocked and organized
- Prepare and cook meals in our home (frequency and days to be agreed upon)
- Clean the kitchen after cooking, leaving the space reset and ready for the next day
- Adjust meals as needed based on feedback, schedule changes, or evolving family needs
What We’re Looking For
- Experience cooking for families or private households (especially with young children)
- Strong organizational skills: meal planning, grocery management, and kitchen flow matter as much as cooking
- Comfortable working in a home with children and the unpredictability that comes with it
- Reliable, proactive, and communicative
- Ability to keep the kitchen clean and orderly as part of the role
Why This Role Matters
Food is a core part of how our household runs. This role will have a real impact on our family’s daily life: reducing stress, improving health, and giving us more time to be present with our kids. We’re looking for someone who sees this as meaningful work and wants to become a trusted part of our home routine.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly or weekly rate, based on experience
- Details to be discussed during interviews
