I love dogs and cats. In Japan, I had a small dog. I took him for walks every day, and on weekends we often went to large parks, rivers, and beaches surrounded by nature. I've seen many people walking their dogs in Canada, and I feel it's an even more dog-friendly and welcoming environment than in Japan. I signed up because I’d love to spend time with dogs here as well. In Japan, I had a small dog who is now 7 years old. For two years, I also lived with a cat, so I’m very comfortable being around animals and I really love them.

As an incoming Grade 12 international student who has recently moved to Canada, I have always had a special love and affinity for dogs. I've gained a lot of experience in caretaking for these affectionate animals due to my pre-existing relationship with two wonderful dogs back in my home country, the Philippines.
