I specialize in senior care and companionship, and I’d be truly honored to be part of your loved one’s circle of support. ♥️
Message me for my resume and supplementary materials (including two pages of client testimonials), and you’ll see how I bring both the skills and heart needed to help your beloved feel uplifted and well cared for.
I’ve spent eight wonderful years enriching seniors’ lives—whether as an elder companion, at senior centers, or as a social activities leader and compassionate communication facilitator. I’m passionate about creating connection, empowerment, joy, and meaning through heartfelt conversation and engaging activities.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve studied and facilitated evidence-based practices including compassionate communication, shown to support well-being and emotional regulation. I’ve worked with five compassionate communication organizations who have been happy with my work, and continue to work for one of them currently.
I've completed training through Canadian Mental Health Association. It was a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based program for managing mood and stress. My training in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and relational psychology helps me and support and guide clients with patience and presence during their challenging moments.
I’ve also spent 14 years in the catering industry, and have food and beverage health and safety training. I love finding creative ways to make healthy foods exciting and enjoyable—it’s the same joy I bring when preparing meals for family gatherings.
I believe laughter belongs in good care, too—I have some training and experience in stand‑up comedy, and it’s been a lovely way to bring smiles and lightness to my work.
I’m currently completing my CPR and First Aid certification this month and have flexible availability. I’d love to connect and learn more about how I can best support your loved one’s comfort, joy, and well-being. ♥️
Looking forward to hearing from you!
