We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Senior Cancer Patient Caregiver for our esteemed mother. The position requires a live-in commitment, promising a full-time engagement with shifts throughout the day including mornings, evenings, nights and the middle of the day. The work schedule spans over the entire week from Monday to Sunday. This role requires a significant degree of dedication and professionalism. Given the nature of this position, having a driver's license is essential. Fortunately, the family can provide a car exclusively for your use during working hours. Your job responsibilities in this role will span multiple aspects of caregiving. Daily responsibilities will include housekeeping duties such as cleanliness and hygiene maintenance, bathroom cleaning, and laundry. Your primary role will revolve around providing comfort to our mother. This includes bathing assistance twice a day, range of motion exercises, toileting assistance, and dressing grooming assistance. You will be expected to adhere to a strict hygiene and safety protocol given her medical condition. We are looking for someone who is either experienced or willing to work with patients suffering from Cancer and who understands the difficulties of handling scenarios of incontinence (diapers). This role certainly calls for an individual believing in the ethic of service and possessing the kind-heartedness to care for someone during a strenuous fight against cancer. For your dedication, we are prepared to offer you a schedule that encompasses greater than 50 hours per week, adjusting accordingly for mutual ease. She lives in a nursing home and has all of her daily living needs met, however she is getting very little stimulation, other then visits from family. Experience or willingness to work with individuals with arthritis is preferred. The working hours for this position will be less than 20 hours per week.
